The crowd are on their feet chanting 6-1-9! 6-1-9! The ref's hands begin to count the pin's length. 1-2- NO!
Casey had pinned Rey too close the ropes, and now Mysterio's foot was placed on the bottom rope, saving him the effort of trying to kcik out.

Casey looked up from the pin cover to see the ref not counting. He demanded to know what his problem was, and was shown Rey's foot resting on the bottom rope.
"Damn it!" He pounded the mat once in frustration. Thinking quickly, he slid out of the ring and then reached in to grab Rey's bad leg. After dragging him across the ring (none too gently) and pulling both legs around the ringpost, Casey attempted to cinch in on the bad leg the hold that would surely end the match: the Ringpost Figure Four.

The fans were still on their feet chanting "6-1-9! 6-1-9!", trying to will Rey on, and their plan worked somewhat. A trail of blood could be seen coming out of Rey's mask, but the champ wasn't out of it. In desperation, Rey brought his legs backward, adn then quickly forwards, hoping to kick Casey off. If that worked he would slide backwards in the ring so Casey would have to at least get into the ring to continue the attack.

Rey's kick-away sent Casey backward, though he was able to partially stop himself against the security railing.
Casey quickly gave the timekeeper a death glare; he responded by moving aside. Casey seized the hammer used to strike the bell and made a sliding rush back into the ring, looking to strike Rey's injured kneecap with the ring implement.

As Casey ran towards Rey, the crowded started to scream "Watch out!" This gave Rey enough heads up to attempt a drop toe hold to make Casey fall onto the bottom rope. Rey was hoping this would wind Casey and give him some breathing time, not having the energy to attempt the 619.

Once more, Casey fell victim to the Fourth Man.
Rey's drop toehold sent him throat-first into the bottom rope. While he coughed and managed to get onto a knee, he still maintained his grip on the bell hammer.
Noticing Rey was not getting quickly back on the attack, he hauled himself up and ran in with a hard clothesline attempt.

Rey jumped into the air and turned, going for his luchador style face buster.
((You know when he goes high, then low as he touches the mat, then back up for the face buster/bull dog thing. I don't know that its called))

(Me either. Scott Keith used to call it the Rube Goldberg Bulldog.)
The high-low-high bulldog connected, sending Casey plummeting to the mat and the hammer bouncing out of his hand.

Rey didn't take long to kick the hammer out of the ring before turning towards Casey, limping slightly. He smiled as the crowd cheered as he attempted to pick Casey up. If that went without a rebellion, he would attempt to dropkick him into the middle rope. If that connected he would go for the 619, The dime, and a pin, for hopefuly, the win.
((Just me or did that last sentence sound poetic))

(Very.)
The dropkick sent Casey into the middle rope, where he was easy prey for the 619.
He bounced into the center of the ring, as Rey leaped to the top rope to launch into his Drop the Dime.
His launch was a bit off from his injured knee, but he heroically made it into the air.
Casey was ready, however, and attempted to roll out of the target path.

The crowd gasped as Rey landed on the matt and began holding his injured knee. However, there was a method to his madness, he was faking it, most of it anyways, it hurt like hell. When the ever confident Casey would come over, Rey would attempt to roll him into a inside cradle for the win isnce he was probably still drowsy from the 619.

Casey wobbled to his feet, smiling smugly at Rey's rolling in pain.
He moved in for the kill, and was caught by Rey's inside cradle.
1...2...kick out at 2 5/6ths!
Angered, Casey pounced on Rey's bad leg and went for a series of punches to the knee.

Rey successfully kicked Casey away from his knee.
Casey hit the mat and rolled back to his feet. He immediately leaped right back into an attempted punching onslaught on Rey's knee.

Rey then attempted to give him a swift toe kick to the temple before he reached his knee, his knee was really begining to hurt.
