Well I try to use the odd creature types that people don't use quite as ofter. Right now I am working on my Griffin deck, Knight deck, and I want to make a deck with ninjas but not ninjas are kind of diffenet then the other tribes I think because they don't really build off each other unless you have a Coat of Arms out

my only fear when i use my Kavus are protection decks and counter decks, same goes for my Dargons and my wurms especially. my slivers, well, the only thing i have a problem with is that since it's really just a fun, not serious deck for me, it's huge and either it works very well or it bombs, but when it works at it's best, i really don't fear any deck. as an example, i faced two guys at once with my slivers, this time it it went my way, and i one by forfiet when i got out a queen sliver, 2 muscles, the overlord, 3 wards, a toxin, a essence and a magma. Plus i could summon sliver easily with gate that lets you summon any creature by tapping two creatures in play with the same creature type (can't remember the name)

vengeance on that game. lol i had protection fomr white, blue and black, cause of the wards Akromas vengence doesn't target. it's just destroy all. if it was "destroy each target creature" then it pro would work. but because it's just all. nothing except for indestructables survive.

Thinkin' up a W/R Extended Cat deck with Raksha Golden Cub and Firecat Blitz. Talk about a blitz. o_o
I'm still trying to tune up my Nightmare deck, my first pre-con from Torment. It's kinda sub-par without any Laquatus' Champions or Hypnoxes, but it runs pretty smoothly.

Invincible Machine Thinkin' up a W/R Extended Cat deck with Raksha Golden Cub and Firecat Blitz. Talk about a blitz. o_o I'm still trying to tune up my Nightmare deck, my first pre-con from Torment. It's kinda sub-par without any Laquatus' Champions or Hypnoxes, but it runs pretty smoothly. already thought of a W/R cat deck. red is mostly burn and firecats, pardic firecats are a staple, raksha becomes pretty much a pain to use though, i tried mixing Green into the mix instead of red, it worked pretty well, all those older cat warriors were really helpful

I like the tribal decks. It made deck building quite innovative in some sense. One good example is Jin Okimoto's (I hope I spelled it right...) Gobvantage deck.I imitated it. Yes its repetitive. With four recruiters, lackeys and goblin matron, its a sure fire 4 piledrivers sometimes in turn 2 and three. 3nodding It is just simply fast even a blue skies deck had a hard time dealing with it. I even laughed at players who used duress since its a creature deck, hey! Oh well. Then I got bored and sold it. Well, so much for tribals...

Tribal has gone from the annoying and netdecktastic to the highly creative and just plain fun to play with/against. The only one I made myself was Zombies.
20 Swamps
4 Carnophage
4 Festering Goblin
4 Severed Legion
3 Undead Warchief
3 Soulless One
2 Phyrexian Scuta
4 Duress
4 Dark Ritual
3 Oversold Cemetery
4 Vendetta
3 Buried Alive
2 Mutilate
I figured using Buried Alive to feed Soulless one and for a quick search was pretty original. And lets face it, if the deck has a theme, then the deck almost automatically has a weakness.
