Rhapsody shurgged trying not to seem like he was too impressed, even though he was secretly rather amazed. "I guess it is sufficient. Though it won't get better unless you practice more and until your wings grow more." he said seeming like he knew what it was like to have wings.

She made a face, running down the sand towards him, swerving and bouncing around him. "Yes, yes, amazing, awe-inspiring I know." she said flippantly, ignoring his comment about her wings- though she knew it was good advice. "I'm hungry." she said firmly. "And I need to go home." she looked at him with narrowed eyes. "So unless you want to have to go home all by yourself, you better stop stalling." she informed him. Then laughed and trotted up the sand. "I'll race you." she challenged.

Rhapsody rolled his eyes as she ran at him and than went around. Why were girls all so weird?! "Alright, I will race you. But I warn you. I am pretty fast on my feet." he said with a wink and pawed at the sand. He had never raced on sand and didn't know how well he would do but playing all of that tag had to account for something.

She grinned, rearing and stamping her hooves into the sand. "I bet I'm faster!" she teased, laughing. And took off like a shot, before the go was said. "Go!" she yelled back. Her laughter trailed behind her.

He took off after her with a mischievious grin. "I bet not!" he called and followed her down the beach and into the night.
He was sure that he would be scolded when he got back to the teepee but the pink colt didn't really care. He had had an adventurous night and had met someone new, even if she thought she was better than him. It would be something he would remember when he was grown and off on his own.
(That was a lame ending post. xp )
