I wish I could help, but I'm drawing a blank right now. Perhaps if you've got an old air vent you could take the grate off and put a few in there (replacing the grate, naturally)?

Loose floor or wall boards might be nice. Or behind bookcases or other furniture.

Well, if she checks behind and underthings, and cleans "everywere", I'm going to say under boards, inside (game) boxes, and that old air vent idea might be the least likely to be checked/noticed....
Otherwise, maybe like...find away to get a locker somewere...in a way so that its rightfully yours and shouldn't be subjected to vandalism/theft.
