its a grande idea but i think that most people would prefer real humans because they arent just cartoons who wont be real no matter how much you wish them to be. just my opinion...

eek I like the 3-D Computer Graphics idea more than anime style. Much as I love anime. I can't see Twilight as an anime, but 3-D, they can make the characters look more accurate, while at the same time giving them a more human look than anime could. It's truly amzing what computer graphics can do these days. ^^
But... if they make Twilight into a movie, it will likely be live-action.

I agree with `Simetra that it would be great if Square Enix made the movie... There animations is just amazing...
.. and it would be easier to deal with the never-aging problem..

I woud love an animated movie (it would be considered anime, not manga, btw), but of course there are lots of people who wouldn't see it simply because they would think of it as a 'cartoon' and lots of people don't like cartoons. I think things are starting to change the idea of cartoons just being for kids with all the different animes coming out, but it hasn't happened completely yet, so we'd have to be careful.

randomranter jasu_tiin randomranter hpfreak.abby As I was falling asleep lastnight, I was thinking about Twilight and New Moon becoming a movie, and a thought struck me. What if it was an animated [with manga] movie? Then there wouldn't be a problem with any of the vampires being un-perfect, the only fear would be how the artist protrays the characters. That's an amazing idea. But I think some readers prefer the original style because it's more logical than it would be in an anime. yup you're probably right I'd actually like it more if they waited until the series was over before they put it on the big screen then I wouldn't mind cuase the original characters would already be in my mind and the movies wouldn't affect any books in the series being published afterwards... Yup, and another qualm I have with it being an anime, manga, or even movie is that we can all imagine the characters in our own way, like Edward being 'perfect' and all. If we watch it on a movie, however, we may lose interest in him/any other character just cause they look different than what we originally percieved them as. Yeah, totally. I'm afraid they're going to have Brad Pitt dye his hair or something and be Edward. xp It just kills the character. I'd always imagine him as Brad Pitt whenever I read the books. You know what would be worse, though? Edward played by ZAC EFRON. *shudder*
