Spice laughed, she had hoped he wouldn't of noticed the amount of attention she had given to his rump but it seemed she wasn’t as sneaky as she hoped. She stuck out her tongue in a playful kind of gesture and then retorted as quickly as she could,
" Well no it isn’t a common practice but it's hard to resist when one has such a cute rump as yourself"
It was true she wasn’t expecting that type of statement but lately it seemed like you should expect almost anything. She nudged his shoulder gently to show she was playing around just incase it came out in a subtle seriousness which could be a bad thing or a good thing, but Spice really didn’t know how he would take it.

That comment was enough to push Kildegard over the edge. He'd been expecting some sort of reaction, given his deliberate provocation of the mare, but for her to take it without batting an eyelash and even toss him a curveball? He couldn't help but burst out laughing at that one. "I has a cute rump, eh? Does it look cute when I do this?"
Grinning between chuckles, Kildegard wiggled his bum at the paint mare, amused at the turn this was taking. Since when were mares able to laugh about such things with stallions they'd only just met? Gods, the last time he'd been able to get away with such behavior he'd been IN a relationship, and the mare had still turned scarlett and slapped him. Go figure.
Calming down, he moved his forelock out of his face where it had fallen, still chuckling. "Well, there's maturity for you. Would you believe me if I told you I was a mature adult?"

Spice laughed and started to tear up a bit. She had not been this amused for ages it seemed. Normally she wouldn’t act in such a manner but something about this stallion seemed to bring it out.
He seemed laid back so that was probably why. She settled down and waited for his next act of words and surprisingly it was a little more toned down. smiling she chuckled a bit as she spoke.
“Ohh but you never said you where Kildegard, besides even us adults can be a little immature sometimes.”
She gave a wink while still smiling. Most of the stallions and other mares she had met so far and had yet to meet most likely would had turned up their noses at her behavior so it was nice to let it out when ever possible. Normally spice was quiet and well mannered. and shy at first.

"Meh, most Soquilis take themselves too seriously anyway; everyone needs a little immaturity to lighten things up once in a while."
Though he was no longer laughing, mirth was evident in both Kildegard's tone and the twinkle in his eyes. It was probably strange, how much could be seen in a pair of eyes as dark and deep as his, particularly given how dead they'd been such a short time ago. But now, every change of mood, every nuance of what he was feeling shone forth in his crystal clear eyes.
Leaning against one the surrounding trees, Kildegard idly scratched an itch on the back of one of his forelegs with a hind leg as he chuckled at Spice. "But true, I never did admit that, did I? However, while we're in the process of admitting, I believe you asked me about myself?" This for clarification, as he remembered her asking the question, but that had been a while ago.

Spice thought back and she did ask that didn’t she. Smiling as she almost forgot herself that she had asked that. Looking into his eyes her light color eyes also had a twinkle to them . Making them appear almost like the sea on a sunny day.
" I did ask that didn’t I and you didn't answer"
she teased and pawed the snow a bit. She could not contain her glee very well right now for some reason, just what was in that sweet grass any way? She stopped her pawing at three and Smiled, waiting for him to answer her question. She was trying her best to keep him mentally stimulated and for the moment that wasn't as hard as it sounded

So he'd been right. "Let's see, what to tell you? First of all, as we already established, my name is Kildegard, Kilde to friends; I love to wander about the countryside, have a fondness for practical jokes, have a tendency to get confused a lot, an only child, interested in mares, no kids, single, have a bad propensity towards spacing out, live in a herd with 7 others, hate the heat, and tend to whistle off-key. Anything else you want to know?"
Grinning, he cocked his head at the mare, noting as he did so for the first time that her eyes had no pupils. Strange enough that he wondered at himself for not noticing it earlier...but it worked for her. Maybe because her eyes were such a vibrant shade of green. Though then again, he'd been accused of having no pupils himself more than once, due to the pitch black color of his eyes. They were there, alright, just not extremely visible.
Still, that registered in a bare moment. Smiling, he raised a brow back her. "Or is it your turn to tell me about yourself?

She laughed at his some what sarcastic response and smiled. She thought for a moment and noticed he seemed to be looking at her eyes with great interest. Spice stopped smiling for a second as she thought of what to say. The smile returned shortly with a response not long after.
" Well I guess I'll tell you a little about myself then. I'm spice a we already know, just Spice friend or not. and I believe you had noticed I have no pupils but i can see perfectly fine. I have a brother but he doesn’t live here. if you can call my step family a herd then there are only 3 of us, not including there children who do not live with us. I prefer fall to any other month as it is not to hot nor cold. Single, no kids, and i like to wonder.... think that’s about it."
She couldn’t help but think how silly that must had sound but then again it seemed rather long now that she thought about it. She hadn’t said something that was that long since she last spoke to Cadaver.

Stepping away from the tree, Kildegard gave Spice a little bow that ended with a flourish grinning all the while. "Well, Spice to friend and foe, I'd say that we now have at least a rudimentary knowledge of each other that at the very least would allow us to fill out a missing person's report should the need arise. All in all, a productive exchange, wouldn't you say?"
Rising up from his bow, Kildegard glanced around the snowy clearing once again. It was all tracked and pawed up from them walking about, but it must have looked quite nice earlier. "So, how long have you been hanging out here, Spice?"

Spice smiled as he bowed and in return she made a curtsying motion. She soon let her normal posture take over.
" Indeed, if you ever go missing I'll be sure to file one"
She smiled and thought about his question. How long had it been. She counted in her head for a moment and sure she remembered how long it had been she smiled and opened her mouth to speak.
" Well I'm sure it has been 3 days more or less. I know I have been in this clearing for a few days. I would ask the same to you but we know the answer"
She smiled while pondering more questions and she thought of one that really was of no importance but was a good question for some one as curious as her.
" While we are on the how many days have you spent in one place, what would be your record?"

If he went missing indeed. When DIDN'T he go missing these days? At least Zaphiro had been able to explain that it was no big deal in his herd to vanish for days on end before Kildegard had vanished off into the wilderness. How long had it been since he'd been back, anyway?
Tilting his head to one side, Kildegard pondered. How long had it been since he'd left the teepee? And how long had he really ever been anywhere? He never seemed to pay attention to such things, thinking them trivial, but now that she brought it up that was a good question...
Head remaining tilted, Kildegard's smile slowly became a puzzled frown. And at the same time, the light began to fade from his eyes...

Spices ears perked as she noticed him fading slowly. A bit panicked she nudged his shoulder and smiled.
" Don't worry it isn’t that important of a question.. lets move on shall we.. umm so you don’t like the heat, I’m taking it you like winter best... why don’t you like the heat?"
She spoke some what quickly but all her words where clear and understandable. She hoped to knock him back into reality with them and if not she would have to be a little more cunning it would seem. Ok no more asking questions that call for deep thought she thought to herself.

"Heat? The heat is nice, but if you stay out you'll get sunstroke. Careful of the rocks." Kildegard responded to the question posed to him, but his voice was dreamlike and almost like a child's; nothing about him indicated he was paying attention to anything anymore, save his own thoughts. With every passing secong, the light was fading from his eyes until once again they appeared dead, dark, and dull; he existed nowhere but his thoughts, and his thoughts were mulling over numbers, counting days. How long had it been?

Spice looked into his eyes. A dim place where it looked like nothing lived. His eyes had the same clouded appearance as a dead horses once again. Spice had a disappointed look on her face but perhaps it was a good way to end a meeting. She was sure what ever he was pondering now was much more important then this idle chatter. Smiling she added in,
" Well then perhaps I will see you again Kildegard, well I hope to. Goodbye"

"Goodbye; mind your step on the way out and don't trip." Leaning against the tree as he was, Kildegard wasn't in any danger of going anywhere physically...for now. It was only a matter of time before he started wandering again, and who knew how far he'd make it that time? But for now he was content to ponder times, dates, numbers of all sorts that floated around in his mind; Spice could have informed him she was pregnant with his child or a starving cannibal at the moment and he probably wouldn't have flinched. Perhaps later, when he came to again, he'd wonder what had happened...
