Vyolett swung the two wooden window shutters open and glared at Nalikai, who was sitting by a tree only twenty meters from her house. "First of all I casted it on the forest not on you! Think of something other than yourself for once," she spoke out smugly, putting her hands on her hips in rage. "Second of all- I won't take it off until you have tea, so you might as well have a cup," she paused, putting a finger on her lips and then snapped them playfully, "you also have to stay in the dining room with me and have it."

Screw what Nalikai wanted. Ever since she met him he's been nothing but a selfish p***k. She understood going out of limits at times with your manners but he never thought of others. All she wanted was tea and she even promised not to put anything in it! Do you know how much of an urge she has to withstand just to do such?

"Oh and by the way," she started again, pointing to the tree he was sitting by, "if you forgot your brain that tree is off the path. Just to tell you so that wolves don't eat your intestines," pausing again with a giggle she smirked and wagged her finger at him. "See how nice I can beeee~"

Nalikai snorted, "You? Nice? Ha! Let's not forget about the enchantments you've put on me, the obvious deaths you've caused." He bared his teeth, "Nice is not a word I would describe you as." Really though, Vyolett? Nice? That was impossible, all he'd ever had to deal with was her constant threats, and quite clear indications of her wanting to maim, kill or otherwise injure him!

And he had a right to be selfish too! All his life it had only been himself. He had only had to look after himself, so why would he put others above him? How was he supposed to survive if he did so? Just because he didn't agree with her torture she saw it fit to call him out on that? Foolish female! Ugh! WHy did he still consort with them?

Another growl, him obey her? Not a chance! Not a chance in the fiery pits of hell! He wouldn't lower himself to be some witches toy. His tail lashed against the ground as her words reverbrated through him. Wolves? Bloody hell! He wasn't going to get eaten by those mongrels! He'd kill them himself if he had to.

That's when a hollow from deeper in the forest elicited. Vyolett furrowed her brow and frowned in discontent. "I hope you're proud of yourself Nally," she said angrily, turning her back on him. "Now they're not going to leave me alone for the next couple hours!" It was true, getting rid of mindless savage wolves was no easy deal. She didn't even bother retorting his last statement. Fighting with him was the same as fighting with God. She would still be doomed.

"What's the matter with you anyways? Why won't you have any tea, dammit?" She retorted, back still turned to him. It confused her a bit as to why he just wouldn't come in for a cup. She even swore that nothing was to be done to it.

Nalikai was happy, happy at least to cause trouble for her, the fact that he was still in danger hadn't really sunk in yet. HIs tail lashed against the ground again. He wasn't being very adult about this but it was the principle of the matter! No one laughed at him. No one.

He was silent for a few moments, listening to her, "Why?" He repeated, looking over in her direction, "Because I don't like to be ordered about." He stated calmly, "You were treating me like some toy and I didn't like it." He shrugged, "I'm not one of yours, love, eventually, an order will go the wrong way." He stood slowly, stretching, maybe he could get out of the forest before the wolves came. Yeah, that had the same probablity as him going back to being normal. "If you asked me again," He commented, "I might just come."

Vyolett crossed her arms and made a smug pout, as the wolves started to gather and surround the area. "I would ask you again, but by the time you agree you'll be a corpse," she said, pointing to the wolves ravenously staring at him.

So what if he decided to get eaten alive. Screw him she said. All this time she's been acting on her best behavior (besides setting ravens on him) and he's just been selfish and rude to her. She hated manner-less people that never even took a few moments to learn even the simplest common courtesy. Well she was going to be so nice about this predicament and it would be her most generous act yet.

Vyolett shut the window shuddered and scampered to the front and back door to lock it. Yes, letting those wolves feed freely on Nalikai was the most generous thing she ever did for those poor things.

Hmm....perhaps I should have rethought all of this... he thought as he saw the scrawny pelts of wolves begin to surround him, "One would have thought they would go after each other to end their starvation..." He mumbled, straightening from his sitting position.

He nibbled a paw absently, debating whether or not to go and ask to be let into the witch's house, take care of these critters, or just run like hell was on his heels. Hmm....the first was out, he wasn't likely to go back like a simpering dog and be ridiculed for the rest of his life. The second...well, he was very out of practice in that sort of thing and it would take far too long to get the stench out of his fur. The third...well, he did like running...

Ah~ But what to do~? It's not like these wolves can kill me, but I rather dislike pain... His gold-green eyes watched the wolves carefully, though his mind still pondered over his options.

"Mmm..."

Vyolett took a long sigh as she poured bright brown liquid tea in an old white tea cup, frowning as she did. The nerve of the b*****d running from her like that. She made to much now because she expected him to drink it. It perplexed her to why Nalikai was so damn paranoid whenever she proposed an idea to him. If he was still thinking about that test thing he had when they first met before he went into her house then he was really more of an a** than she first expected. That test wouldn't have even killed him in the slightest bit and she was nice enough to heal his wounds. Besides if he hadn't done it then he would never expect dangers living in the dead woods.

"Let him do what he wants," she grumbled, carefully placing the hot cup of tea in the living room, starting at old paintings of her family in front of her, "he obviously values his life though and the forest still is enchanted with my loop spell so there's no way he can even get out of this predicament, without accepting my help."

Oh how ironic was the situation at task.

They're getting a bit too close...

His lips curled back, revealing white teeth. He didn't want to do anything at the moment, all he wanted to do was be left alone. The least he should do was run away, but of course, she had probably left the enchanment on the forest and all he would succeed in doing is tire himself out and make it easier to get killed.

So. Would he go back to the witch in her house and ask to be let in? Hell no.

But...Well, he could deal with a bit of humiliation...and if it meant he could stay alive for a bit longer. Besides, after this he'd make sure he'd never see that witch again. Now, to just make his pride shut up enough to get to the house...

Vyolett look a small sip of her tea, wondering when Nalikai would finally get the thought of surviving without her help out of his mind. What did she even see in that boy that made her want to tease him so? Perhaps not a lover or a friendship kind of relation...but perhaps a sibling rivalry one could suffice. Yet there was always something so odd about Nalikai that Vyolett could never seem to catch up on. He was certainly hiding something from her he was sure of it.

"I'm not young either, Vyolett, there are others besides witches who live for great amounts of time."

Vyolett pondered on his last words before leaving her wooden cottage. Others beside witches that live for great amounts of time? Could he be similar to her? She knew quite well he was no witch and mummy didn't seem to grasp him either. So what could he possibly be talking about?

"Let's see you try being dead for a while, eh? You'll get sick of it too."

So he's been dead. She must have been going senile not to have caught this earlier. Let's see...witch and mummy were out of question. Werewolf was a bit unlikely as well. Zombie- not dead enough and hasn't particularly asked for something related to brains. Obviously not a ghost but that could only leave...

A vampire?

Nalikai, a vampire? Well it certainly would explain the splatters of blood on his pelt. Yet there had to be a small test conducted. The only question was when Nalikai would come in so she can proceed with her little experiment.

One step, two step, three step, four....

Ach, this was getting him nowhere. Those stupid wolves were coming closer, far too close for comfort. Their presence did not help the situation a single bit. He was fighting tooth and nial inside with his pride. Pride wanting him to never go back to that witch in her cottage with her smug look on her face as she would open the door to her house. His lips curled back in a snarl, she might even try to make him beg. Well, that wouldn't be happening while he was still conscious and able to speak or move.

He sighed, finally within a distance to reach the purple witch's door easily. One thing was for sure, he was definitely going to not like this bnext step and probably wouldn't like the results of the next few hours. After this, I'm making a mental note to never come near this place again. Molding his expression into something remotely neutral, he reached out a paw and knocked once on the door.

.........Where the hell do all these wolves come from, anyway?

Vyolett's eyes narrowed to her door as the small forced knock echoed on her wooden door. So he finally got his priorities in place before he died. Good. Now she can do a small test. She hoped he wouldn't mind if the tea had a small extra ingredient. With a small smirk she took her long fingernail and carefully pricked her index finger. As she withdrew the nail a small pool of scarlet blood oozed from the self-made injury.

"Coming," she said sweetly, letting small drops of her blood fall into the cup of tea which she reserved for Nalikai when he decided to come. Hastely she grabbed a small teaspoon by the tea and mixed the scarlet coloring of her insides with the brown tea. It took a several seconds of contionous mixing but after those seconds the tea looked untouched as it began.

Smirking with her procedure Vyolett rose from her chair and started for the front door, plastering a small frown so that he wouldn't get the wrong impression from her. Oh who am I kidding? With me around he always gets the wrong impression.

Sighing lightly she twisted the doorknob open and snatched his paw immediatley before he could say anything rude or sarcastic. Once he was in she let go of his paw and started to shoo away the wolves. A few of them ran away but a couple lurked around off the path, hoping that another stupid move would be made so they could have their dinner.

Well, he hadn't expected this. To find himself suddenly dragged into the house, without a snide comment was a bit...surprising. Vyolett sure didn't live up to his expectations, but when did she ever?

Looking at the witch curiously he finally said, "I assume you are planning something, then?" He guessed, raising an eyebrow, "As far as I can tell, the lack of comments and insults indicates something, so I suppose it would be nice to know what you could possibly have in mind for little old me."

Ha. He knew there was something up with the purple witch, she had that air about her, the kind that liked to say "I'm going to do something and you probably won't like it". So he looked at her, expecting a bit of an explanation. If she was going to torture him, at least he had a right to know in adavnce, right?

Vyolett sneered at Nalikai. "Hello Mr. Paranoid," she remarked, crossing her arms sternly and glaring at him with not anger but a hint of sadness. Of course she would never let it glint out of her red eyes. She quickly let go of her arm crossing and outstretched a paw to him. "I'm Vyolett, nice to meet you. Should I throw out anything that could cause you to fidget in anxiety?"

Really the nerve of him. She was planning something but hell he was far too paranoid for his own good. Can't he just for once think of how she feels. After all even four-hundred year old women have feelings. Maybe this is why he's gay?

"Look I basically rescued you from craze wolves. The least you can do is have some tea," she said, wandering back to the dining table. Sitting on her side she stared at Nalikai and then took a sip of her tea, looking at the cup of tea with her blood mixed into it as she sipped. If he was a vampire he wouldn't be able to tell the difference so why not keep him blissfully unaware?

Nalikai snorted, "It's not paranoia if it's true," He replied crisply. Raising an eyebrow at her paw and quite evidently refusing to take it, "I'm Nalikai, a pleasure, please do that, or I fear I might faint with fear." He snapped back, already wishing he'd rather deal with wolves then her. Had this been a mistake? Why, indeed it had.

"You rescused me from crazy wolves," He repeated, "Ah, this is from the same person who tried to kill me by setting them on me and before has set ravens on me, oh, I so trust you."

Despite this, he decided he might as well follow her deeper into her lair, though a faint uneasiness lingered abotu him. This witch wasn't the type to let things go, she had to be planning something.

Vyolett sneered incredulously. "Yes it is. You alway think I'm going to do something horrible to you. In all honesty you have a one track mind," she glared, taking another small sip of her tea. Yes he was right, there was something she had planned for him to do. Of course it wasn't something like poison, just a small drop of her own blood. Not harming in the least bit.

"Again, I thought you were someone or something else. You would do the same thing if you didn't know," she said with a roll of her eyes. He was becoming quite an eyesore to look at.

She took the white teapot decorated with small patterns around the top, which looked a lot like purple and orange flowers, and poured more tea into her cup. Looking at Nalikai who was seemed quite content in his slow pace to the table she decided to bite her tongue from insulting his sluggish movement.
