Has anyone in the guild here used the empire driver? if so how good is it. I am thinking about either getting one of those for the price or just being content with the Dye Stainless that i have now. I dont NEED a new barrel but i think it would be nice the only problem is that The drivers only come in black with a color tip and my gun is mostly chrome and blue domokun

Sure you don't meen the Evil Driver??? I'm not too sure about Evil or Empire barrels. I personally stick with the 2 of the biggest companys in the game which is Smart Parts and Dye. I've heard the Evil Driver proforms alot like the Smart Parts All-American which is a good preforming one-piece barrel for it's price.
Now for the Dye Stainless..It might be kinda hard to find one if you can. I never doubt the preformance of Dye or thier products. The Stainless is also more of a heavier barrel becuase of what it is made of. I would shoot for a Dye Excel becuase they are a aluminum and are good barrels for the price. Also the Excel has been put outta production if I'm correct so it might be hard to find one.Or if wanna get top of the line I would get a Dye Ultralite.

Well the Progressive and the Teardrop are very similar barrels compared to each other. They only have cosmetic changes. Both preform the same I'm thinking sence they both look identical almost. If your willing to spend alittle more money I'd go up a notch with a All-American. The All-American is a 2-piece barrel so you can get a wide range of tips or backs. Plus if you ever get a new gun with diffrent threading you can just buy a new back instead of a whole new barrel. Or you want an even more higher-end barrel you can get a Freak back and insert.
(Sorry in my last post I said the All-American is a one-piece when it is a two-piece)

The Freak is way better sense you can just change the insert which I was easy process of taking the barrel off the marker and sliding it out. But you should also get the little insert deal they give you which is 3 inserts that are basically the only ones you'll ever need.
J&J barrel are nice from what I've seen from them. I don't know much about their company. But they seem to produce more of a lower end dollar barrel which is a bang for the buck. Also sence their barrels are cemeric(sp?) they clean through good if you were to chop a ball. I'm not to sure about their customer support. Another fall to them is finding their products if you don't special order it at a shop or buy it off line. I don't think they attend to any national tournaments. Another flaw to their barrels is that they don't really look good on markers. I'm not to sure if you care about look but I kinda do at times depending on what it is.
I would stick with the Smart Parts Freak. The Freak is used world wide by many ranges of players and preforms with excellence.
