Thana had peeled off from her younger brothers, who seemed to be enjoying the random songs that kept popping up on the radio Lenta bought for them. She was seated on a small Floppi-sized beanbag by the bookshelf, a storybook cracked open in front of her. She hadn't noticed Marmaduke come in... or noticed much, for that matter. Thana really got absorbed when she started reading.

Thana jumped involuntarily, Marmaduke's voice breaking her concentration on the story. She flashed him a grin after realizing who it was. "Hey! Good morning, Marm."

Marm... He hates that nickname, but somehow it doesn't seem so bad when she says it... He hops up next to her on the couch and kisses the top of her head. "How are you this fine day?"

So, do we want to have them meet again, since it's been so long? We say it's all wintery and stuffles, close to Christmas (kinna like it is...), and...yeah.

Yuss ma'am. :B I'll get it started~
Thana highly enjoyed the Winter season. It was always nice and cold, so she got to huddle by the fireplace, wrapped in blankets and equipped with hot cocoa... So she wasn't all that sad when the temperatures dropped into the twenties. Lenta had made them stay inside, since there was something called a 'snowstorm' happening. and that was perfectly fine with Thana. Of course, until she learned what snow was.
"Whah!" The dark blue Floppi yelped, falling flat on her face as she tumbled out the front of the Floppi Center. Luckily, the whole sidewalk and ground was covered in snow, so she landed safely in the soft white powder. Of course, since Thana had never seen snow in her life, she freaked.
"Who put this white stuff here?!? I didn't authorize this!" She sputtered, shaking herself free of the snow. Shivering, she tried climbing back up the front steps... and slid backwards, her paws hitting a thin sheet of ice that had covered the porch.
"Oh, just GREAT." Thana scowled angrily at the ice, then leaned against the steps, trembling visibly.

Marmaduke, in one of his quiet moods, had decided to come see Thana. When he gets there, she was sprawled on the ice. He smiles and walks closer. Once he's close enough to touch her, he uses his front two paws to pick her up and set her on her feet. Ice didn't seem to be a problem for him. It tended to melt where he stepped.

Thana shudders, locking her knees so that she won't slide out underneath herself anymore. She then smiles at Marmaduke, whispering a thank you to him between chattering teeth.
"T-thanks..." Good lord, it was way too cold. She just wanted to make it back inside.... A blanket and some tea sounded lovely right now.

Silently, Thana padded to the door, careful not to slip on the ice. Instead of pressing her luck, she simply placed her paws in Marmaduke's pawprints, and reached the door uneventfully. When she was in the doorway, she turned, then placed a kiss on Marmaduke's cheek.
"My hero." She murmured, her lips curling back into a soft smile, and then she entered the Center.

He smiles, his heart warmed by her tenderness. He closes the door behind them and shakes out his paws.

Thana shakes the snow off her paws as well, then pads to the living room, ducking underneath her blanket and scooching close to the fire.
"Snow stinks." She mutters, looking dejected.
