Bellecat ... GMship should be restricted to people in the correct timezones. (PST through EST) Makes it easier for the majority. ^^ There are other people in this game than US players. Taking away their right to be GM is unfair.
He is the GM. It's his decision. If you guys have such a problem, then quit. We certianly don't need people that are going to throw fits because someone wants to change something.
We should try out what he is saying. That way, if it doesn't work, another GM won't make the same mistakes.

Roger Silverwood Dukes ... Um...
If Takazawa did the updates at 5:00 PM his time that would be 9:00 PM EST >.> Is 5:00 not part of the evening?
Also... either do the killings (BOTH) before jailings, or the jailings before the killings (BOTH). Keep it consistent and fair. >.> Not quite, 9PM EST = 10 AM GST + 8:00, and I'm just going to go ahead and decide I'm siding with whatever time Taka chooses. Nomatter what time the update is, the day still lasts 24 hours. And even if the check-in time is LATER than it's been in the past, making it EASIER for people with roles, I don't think y'all really have to stay up until the moment of the update ... Yeah uh Roger, don't try to correct my times when I used a timezone chart to check them, kthx. He said GMT+9, the times I supplied are GMT+9.
And Roger, maybe some of us like to get to see the update? No we don't have to, that's obvious, but maybe we WANT to? Maybe we don't appreciate just having it declared we'll have a new time without any warning? Perhaps he should have tagged that onto the end of his application so we all knew what we would be agreeing to.

What's the big deal about the timezones? We'll still have the same time to vote. It's not like he can really do that much about it, he's on the other side of the world. sweatdrop
Remember the sort of thing we said about Zae? Her life > the game. The same should go for EVERY GM. Their lives > the game. It would disrupt his life if we would try to force him to do it at the time we're used to. So, let him do it his way. It's not going to hurt anything. He'll get the sleep he needs and we'll still get our updates.
I'm just a little iffy about the removal about the NR, since the clues were part of the game...along with the "IS THAT THE NR?" "IS THAT THE NR?" "THIS IS THE NR!" "NO THIS!" times we always have.

Yes, I don't like the times, I stated this, fine. Yes, you don't like the times, you stated this, fine. There is NO NEED to continue to post and pick fights with other people. If you have that big of a problem with it, then quit.
If not, get over it. Suck it up. Changes happen. No one made this much of a ruckus before jailvoting was started. We'll give it a chance, and if it doesn't work out, complain then. No use starting s**t when nothing's happened yet.

Additionally, I would love to know where the hell he pulled GST out of, cause none of us were speaking about GST.
Yeah uh, continuing to post right... yeah that's called continuing discussion, proposing solutions, you know? Those marvelous things that help resolve issues.
One last thing. You're right, nobody made a complaint when Jailvoting was started. Why? It seemed like a good idea, but probably MORE IMPORTANTLY, it was Zae's idea, and you can't even begin to pretend that people kiss Zae's a** more than anyone else's, even if they disagreed they'd just stay quiet because Zae chose it, because Zae started this game. Not that I'm saying she doesn't deserve respect for bringing us the game, but that's what happens.

Don't we all know that's right. If Zae proposed all these idea's I'm sure there'd be less of an argument about it. There'd be a thread consisting of mostly "Good idea! ^^" I think we should give Taka as much respect as we give Zae. He's the GM, and he deserves it.

Actually, Roger IS right about the timezone thing. I have family in the Philippines, which is in approximately the same timezone as Australia; they're 12 hours ahead. To put things into perspective: it's around 7:30 PM EST now, so it would be around 7:30 AM Dec. 19 in Australia, give or take an hour.

Australia is big enough to have MULTIPLE time zones. Secondly, I used the time zone Takazawa supplied, GMT+9. That's what I based off of.
Here, you run the calculator. Make sure you change to Use The Following Date/Time, put in 9:00, put from as EST and to as etc/GMT+9 and you tell me what it spits out, cause that's what I got from it. http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc

... And I bet you wondered what I meant when I said you were nearly as bad as Alain. You say this kind of s**t, I believe you're intelligent enough to know what kind of reaction it will receive, and then when drama starts because of it, you're the first one to go "STOP THE DRAMA" like you weren't the one who caused it.

Annnnd according to my computer's timezone chart, Brisbane, Australia's actually GMT + 10.

Well then, we have to assume that either Takazawa generalized on his location or her was mistaken about his timezone or he moved. Either way, we have conflicting data. And that still doesn't explain why GMT+9 shows as five hours later... O.o
