JD grinned, smiling easily as he nodded his head. This was good. Easy! Standing around talking to another father while his boy did typical boyish things... ah. If only Narayan would make normal friends.
Well. Poisonous ones, but at least this one pretended to be normal.
Reaching inside his pocket, he pulled out a wallet, and then a card. "I'd be glad if we could arrange time for our kids together, in the future." a little bit pushy? Maybe. But JD was desperate to get Narayan to interact with boylike BOYS.

Narayan giggled. Patting the mud that was drying enough to stick to his skin, he frowned. "Wish there was more water, you know." he said, frowning as he scratched at his arms for a while. Yeah. More water. And maybe more mud too. He stared at Nibal with a sad expression on his face.
It was all not enough. His beautiful play thing.

Peri took the card, taking his own wallet out to put the card in and handed the man one of his own. Okay, so those cards were usually given out to women, but it would be polite to exchange numbers with the man. "That would be great," he told JD. After all, Nibal only knew a couple of kids and not very well. Though the boy seemed to get along well with just about everyone he's met.
Nibal looked at the mud that was starting to dry on his clothes. "Yeah..." He glanced around. "Too bad there's no water around to add." Though how they would transport water was beyond the boy.

Narayan scratched at his lip with his nose, rubbing at it absentmindedly because of a spot of mud that was starting to pull a little bit at his skin. "Yeah. " he stared at his da too, as if somehow maybe he could get the big man to bring in the water.
You never knew what the adults were hiding in their clothing. Like. Money. And ... .... water stuff.
Deciding that maybe this was enough (and because the mud was slowly finding it's sneaky way into places that Narayan did not find comfortable), he wiggled in an attempt to stand up.
"Nibal, you want to go somewhere else?" the grass looked nice, for one thing. And muddy children and grass went together, didn't it?

Nibal watched with fascination as the elephant boy rubbed at his lip with his nose. That was cool! The frog boy wondered if he could do that as well, reaching up with his hands to try and manipulate his nose into bending.
The boy was suddenly distracted by Narayan standing up. "Huh? Oh... uh... I guess..." Nibal would've rather stayed in the mud hole. It felt so good on his skin. But if the other boy was wanting to go play in the grass... well, maybe that would be fun too.

Narayan stared. Just what was that boy trying to do? Maybe it was a guy thing. Or a nose-less thing. Narayan still wasn't quite sure how other people seemed to be able to cope with having such a short nose- but it didn't matter.
After all, he wasn't the one cursed for life.
"Nibal, what do you want to do?" flopping onto the grass and peering at the boy, he sighed. It was nice- the way the wet mud seemed to rub, and the way the dry flecks were scratched off by the grass. This, this was nice. And he was surprised that this da was being so calm about it too.
Hmmm.
This boy was nice to have around, if he made JD so patient!

Nibal paused for a moment, watching as his friend plopped onto the grass. "Uh... I dunno..." He thought for a second. "What do you wanna do?" He sat down on the grass nearby the elephant child, reaching up to rub at one of the spots where the mud was starting to dry. His skin was starting to itch and feel bad there. Apparently mud only worked when it was wet.

Narayan blinked. A decision, being left up to him? It wasn't often enough that it happened. Heck, and even when it did there was usually a trick question behind it all. Deciding that he probably wasn't good enough at this 'game' to figure out the answer, he frowned.
Huh.
"I want to touch Nibal, but thats not allowed." Indeed, Narayan was still curious to see how the boy's skin actually worked. And no matter what the adults said, he still wanted to do it. It was blue! And shiny! And look at the markings!
It was pretty. And Narayan liked to touch pretty stuff.

Nibal frowned. No, it wasn't allowed. He made everyone sick who touched him. That was not good. Sick was very bad. The boy shook his head. "No, no, no... skin makes peoples sick." He took a hesitant step backwards, as if afraid that Narayan would try to touch him anyways.
