Kaosu's hands touched the earth, and he cartwheeled away from the swinging pipe. He returned his legs to the ground after the graceful spin, and crouched. The adrenaline, however powerful it was, began to wear off, and his weariness and pain returned. He grimaced as he again stood. He gripped his sword, and made another attempt to hit the man; though his legs moved like lead.

Kaosu's sluggish swing didn't manage to make contact with the mugger, and Kaosu collapsed on one knee, finally ready just collapse and sleep. That's when the man took his moment and rushed the no-longer-vigilant boy, pipe in tow.

As much as Kaosu tried to block, he just couldn't. The pipe passes straight through his guard, and connects with his head. Blackness envelopes Kaosu's eyes and thoughts, and the world around him disappears.

Tsai was walking through town when he realizes someone was getting mugged, he pulled out his zampakuto and quickl guards the figure on the floor. The mugger backs off.
"Are you alright?" he asks the man on the floor and realizes that the man was non-other than Kaosu Ranmyaku, the new student at the academy. No use, he was knocked out cold. The mugger took the oppurtunity to strike at Tsai, he charged at him with his pipe in one hand and swung it down as hard as he could attempting to hit Tsai's head while he was distracted.
Tsai instinctively dodged the attack pulling Kaosu by the collar backwards to keep him from harm's way.
Mugger's Attack: +5

Tsai dodged the mugger's attack with ease and with one leg off the floor, launched himself back at the mugger while he was still open due to the delay of his swing. Tsai needed to make this swift, he didn't know what injuries Kaosu might have gotten from his attackers.
Tsai was small compared to the mugger, it seemed that Kaosu had already defeated one of them.

The mugger was hit in the chest by Tsai's quick attack. Tsai pulled his zampakuto out, hoping that he would have killed the mugger. He turned his back to check out Kaosu who was unconscious. The mugger on the floor got up, although bleeding, ran and attempted to hit Tsai on the back of the head.
As he is running, Tsai picks up the sound of the heavy breathing and stomping, he turns around and jumps back.

"Heh, my spirit's training really is paying off," he smirked as he dashed at the mugger with his zampakuto now sheathed, he was going for his specialty, Iaido based attacks. He ran towards the mugger and unleashed a few swipes from his zampakuto, sheathed it and ran towards the other side of the mugger.
The man didn't seem to quick about Tsai's approach but when he saw the unsheathing of the zampakuto, he pushed himself away.

"Lucky," Tsai muttered as he kicked himself off with one leg back into his opponent, but the mugger was keen this time, he swung his pipe to keep Tsai at bay. Tsai kicked back with the other foot to avoid the swing. He didn't want to get hit by such a large metal object.

Tsai landed a few meters away from the mugger who seemed to be dying due to blood loss, he would die even if he killed Tsai or Kaosu. There was no hope for him, plus there wasn't a medical hospital anywhere around these parts, he was for sure a goner. Tsai dashed up, wanting to give him the finishing blow.
The mugger instinctively, swung his pipe again to ward Tsai away.

The man fell on the floor as Tsai pulled out his zampakuto and sheathed it. He felt no remorse for killing these people, Tsai believed Soul Society was the perfect Utopia for souls and believed that those who perform robberies deserved nothing else.
The body slid down the wall of the alley revealing a large blood stain, Tsai went back to check if the other mugger was dead, and just in case, he pulled out his zampakuto and gutted the body to make sure it was dead, if not, it was dead now. He smirked as he went over to Kaosu who was still unconscious.

Kaosu felt the shakings and stirrings, not quite aware of his surroundings but he knew something was going on. Then, he felt himself being dragged, until he was layed against the edge of the wall. Then, he became aware to a group of 'swish'es and 'thwock's. Finally, dark figures started forming and moving.
Finally, Kaosu could tell that a fight was going on, though he couldn't quite move in response. Finally, one figure felled the other to the ground. After a bit of moving around, the figure moved to Kaosu. Don't mug me. Kaosu pleaded in his thoughts. Please don't take anything. But, then Kaosu noticed something. Robes. Shinigami robes. He felt better, but he couldn't reply, which disheartened him. Finally, he started coughing. He hoped it would be a sign.
