It's one of my powers, Coailiann stated simply, flopping herself down on the floor without caring if she was going to get in the way of anyone. Honestly, it was her home and they could work around her, right?

I'm doing all right, wondering why so many people decided to come, but it's all right. Does this bother you? I figured it'd be easier.

Inwardly, Kay was gleeing over the reaction. Everyone was always so surprised to hear her voice in their head.

Lilianna held her hawl closer to her body, her bag swinging back and forth on one side of her hips. She had been sent to retrieve a valuable item and she was just now going back to her employer to recieve her payment. She passed by the Wand Shoppe and quickly did a double take of it. Stopping in her tracks she noticed the shop and its dusty shelves inside. Looking around, she noticed that not too many people payed attention to the old shop. Shrugging slightly, she glanced down at her hawk that was perched on one of her gloved arms. "You think I should take a look around?" she asked the hawk curiously. The hawk canted her head to one side before beginning to preen her feathers. "You think we should go ahead and get our money, huh? Well, guess what, I am in charge. That old coot can wait for his valuable item. This is more important." The hawk flapped her wings for a few seconds before three fingers were placed firmly around her beak. "Don't try to convince me to do something else. I sense something...odd with this shop and I want to check it out." The hawk ruffled her feathers, but instead of flapping her wings again, she diverted her gaze down towards the ground. "Good," said the falconer in a stern tone of voice. "Let's go." Slowly, the falconer approached the shop and opened the creaky door. "Hello? Anyone around?" she asked to no one as she entered the shop, slowly closing the door behind her.

"They're all in the back." Drawled a feminine voice, startlingly close to the falconer's ear. The owner herself stood a few feet back contrary to the nearness of her statement, the pale fingers of one hand wrapped around the handle of the shop's door which she had just barely caught and opened before it had closed. In her other hand? A young boy had wrapped those white fingers into a vice-grip with his darker set, though was only managing to reach the very last joint. Beneath an array of black hair and purple bangs of questionable material, pupiless yellow eyes contented themselves looking this new person over. A decidedly neutral expression was upon the toddler's face. After all, he had been awake for some amount of time and had no reason to be cranky- Kyo had made sure of that. She'd even set him down to walk the last few yards to the shop with her to make sure, which he hadn't minded so long as she stayed holding his hand.

"I'm... Kyo, and this is my son, Xerksis. We come as often as we can." There was a pause for a yawn. "But there is nothing much to see here. All the activity is, as I've mentioned, in the back. Or close to it." Navy blue eyes scanned the dusty place thoughtfully, a groggy sort of memory resurfacing. "We're about to go. Would you like to come along?"

A young woman of small stature was dancing her way down the street. Her head was tilted downward, focused on her skipping feet, and her body bouncing with every step to the song she currently had blasting into her eardrums. It wasn't until she saw someone else's feet in her vision did Shira Anzen's gaze avert upwards, tripping to the side to avoid collision.

"So-" The large man she almost bumped into continued his swift pace behind her, grumpily mumbling, as if he hadn't almost run her over. "-rry..." She glared, turned fully to his direction, blew a rasberry and kindly flipped him off.

"Ugly old coot!" After yelling at his dissapearing figure she shoved her hands angrily into the pockets of her small hoodie and glared at the building next to her. The looks was wiped off her face instantly though as she noticed the inside of the shop. Currently, from what she could see, there were only two or three people inside, and the contents of the shop seemed interesting enough. She always loved zaney antique shops. She never bought anything, sure, but there was no greater love than that of exploring the history of what once was. With the thought of a new discovery in mind, she put back in her earbud and opened the shop door.

Lilianna didn't jump when a voice arose from near her. She was used to people sneaking up on her when she least expected it. Canting her head to one side, she observed the woman and her child curiously before the shop door opened again. Lily took a few steps away from the door entrance as she turned around, her hawk swaying on her arm as she did so. Turning her attention from the entering person, she looked down at the toddler curiously. "In the back? What is going on?" she asked Kyo curiously. The hawk nudged her owner on the arm and Lily rolled her eyes slightly. "I'm Lily and this is Taka, my annoying partner in crime. Her partner, Sen, wanted to come, but I only needed one hawk for the task." Her free hand flew to the bag by her hip to make sure that item she had gotten was still in it. Confirming that it was, she put her hand in her vest pocket and waited for the newcomer to come into the shop.

Shira's eyes were already glancing everywhere around the shop before she even entered. She hadn't even taken a few steps into the shop before she faltered, almost bumping into someon e again. Only with her luck, she figured. She slipped the side along the wall and took in the atmosphere. The decaying wall and dusty shelves gave her a morbid, yet ancient and wise feel of the shop. She itched to go throught the trinkets and things around the shop as she felt someone a difference in the prescence behind her.

She gave the shop another once-over before setting her gaze at the persons conversing. She noticed one of them looking at her and resisted the urge to simply walk away. Shira offered a slight wave and awkward smile, keeping a hand around the ipod in her pocket for comfort. "Hi...?"

I see... Zasalamel's mind-voice said, though his physical body was shifting uncomfortably. His right hand lifted to hook onto the elbow of his left arm, and he was definately not looking at her now. It wasn't right to hear a voice, but not to see lips moving. It gave him the creeps...but obviously this girl preferred it, so he had to put up with it.

No...Its not bothering me...but Ilhar always says hearing voices makes you crazy. Not that he understood what that meant, of course. Its...nice to see a lot of people. He liked people, really he did. Do you not like people, Kay? Even his mind-voice refused to say her full name; he just...couldn't.

The tall Drow boy glanced towards the portal entrance to the headquarters, for seemingly no reason.

Neveah waved her hand dismissively. "Naah, c'mon back. Two people is fine, but not that group inside. For a butterfly, I'm not very social, am I?" The broken butterfly chuckled a bit, again urging Rouge to come back to the Garden.

"AHh... OAK GET THAT OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!" Kyo jumped and soared through the air towards his treeling charge. Who just happened to be sticking a rock into his mouth. Very... bad.

Oak looked up at his soaring guardian some what confused and with a look of anger as if to say.
Stupid Elf man..

Kyo pulled the stone from Oak's vice grip just before it got to far into his mouth. Reaching out, The elf pulled on a weed and handed it to Oak.

Oak nibbled happily on the weed and rocked back and forth. Humming to himself an odd tune. Something Kyo never even taught the child.

"Huh?" Kyo ignored it and returned next to Neveah.
"I don't know where he learned that..."

Ah. Well, there's a type of voice that makes you crazy and a type that just makes it easier to talk. If you're sure it's not bothering you, we can continue, Coailiann paused for a moment as she watched him shift. He did NOT look comfortable.

I don't mind speaking normally. But...I don't mind people, at all. Unless they're grabbing at me or my things.

Like Taylor and that baby with the leaves and weird colored hair. She swore if one more person grabbed her hair or things, she'd lose it.

"I'm not sure what is going on... I was hoping to find out. They are there, though." Kyo murmured softly, feeling Shira's approach. Xerk, however, was the one who turned towards her, disinterested now in the woman and her fowl... or at least putting his attention on the latter on hold for the moment.

Dark brows creased as he looked over the woman, making a soft scoffing sound. "Hey." He offered, tugging on his guardian's hand for attention.

"I see. A very regal bird indeed, Taka." Feeling the tug on her hand, she shifted it to scratch at boy's head, which didn't really succeed in satisfying him. She turned her head towards Shira, offering a tired sort of smile. "Hello. Please, come in..." With a smooth gesture, she glided to the side, tugging Xerk with her. "I don't think there... will be anyone here to attend you, though."

The woman shrugged and reentered, leaning against the fountain by the other two. "Eh I wouldn't know. About how butterflies act I mean. But then again, I'm pretty friendly for a pirate so we're in the same boat." she said with a shrug, pulling out a set of sunglasses and placing them on her face.

"Oh and hello there." she said to Kyocho. "I'm Rouge." she told the elf with a nod.

Having dissapeared into the kitchen to make food for the mass amoutn fo gets who'd showed up Kishi and Malen finally emerged, Malen headed to the main lobby carring a tray of cold meat and veggies. He could hear voices there so he knew someone would probably eat the food. " I come in peace baring food" He called out.

Kishi balanced a tray of nachos meaty and vegetarion in one hand. In the other she held her wand as she walked out into the gardens. " Snacks for all." She called out cheerily " Cookies baking in the oven for special people."

Lily shrugged slightly at the woman who entered the shop as turned her attention back to Kyo. She glanced down at her hawk, who was busy staring at the toddler. Taka shuffled her feet slowly as she leaned forward, as if trying to get closer to the child. "Taka," Lily said in a stern voice as if warning the hawk to not try anything stupid. The hawk glanced up at her master for a few seconds before standing straight up. "She has a bad habit of trying to get herself into trouble," she explained to Kyo. Glancing around the room, she noticed the many bookshelves. "So, where is this back room you talk of?"

Shira looked down towards the voice of who'd replyed, noticing them for the first time. She noted the weird purple...things coming from his forehead, making her curious and weirded out at the same time. She frowned in late response. He didn't seem like the type to like strangers in her assumption.

She knew when to stay away, and so she looked to smile back at the guardian. She stepped further towards the center of the shop, keeping her distance from the others. "It's alright," she responded, "I'm just kind've looking around anyway." Her eyes strayed towards the bird of prey with it's movement. "If it's okay i mean..."

Zasalamel,, aware he was being watched, suddenly stopped moving. He didn't want to look uncomfortable, so since Kay probably noticed he was moving, he decided to stop. He could do it, really he could!

Ah. You're the first person I've heard in my head...so I guess its okay, then. Of course, his mind was talking about not being crazy. Neveah called Philos crazy, and he DEFINATELY didn't want to turn out like Philos.

Grabbing at you...? People always grab at me...especially little people...uh...babies, yeah, babies. They like my hair I guess. Grimancing, he lifted his hand to tug on the sideswept bangs of his untameable white hair. Taylor tried to eat his hair, Oak pulled on it, his brothers just held onto it...Yashi played with his hair too, but that was nice.

After that, he went silent; he didn't know what else to talk about, especially when his companion happened to be female.

---

Neveah jumped a bit when Kyo started scolding Oak, her little slivers of wings flutering uncontrollably for a moment, before relaxing. Lucky, moving her once-wing stubbs and slivers didn't hurt anymore...it was just awkward and left her with the chills, for whatever reason. "Well...I guess they know something things we don't. Like...I never taught Zah a word of undercommon, and its the only thing he speaks clearly." She mused, but at the same time gave a feeble attempt at comforting any fears in that area. "Yanno, Zah's in the main room if you want to dump Oak on him." He was getting better at holding infants...really he was.

Sort of.

Not really.

But she knew what it was like to not want to have to watch over a baby like a mother hen, but still doing so anyway.

"Oh yeah! Kyo, this is Rouge, and Rouge, this is Kyo. The treebaby over there is Oak." Neveah introduced her 'friends' to one another, since it was the right thins to do. The broken butterfly did chuckle a bit though, then Rouge put them in the same metaphorical boat.

"Oh, food! Kishi, you're my hero." Jumping to her feet, the butterfly wandered over and snatched up some nachos.
