Actually I think she is becoming for evil. Remember the whole blackmail thing in Arrow? And the way she talks to Clark, how she is all up for experimenting on meteor freaks. She is actually pretty ideal for Lex.
Dr. Groll: Evening. Miss Lang, what are you doing?
Lana: Lionel Luthor knows about the black box, and he is willing to do anything to get his hands on it.
Dr. Groll: And you think I'm working with him?
Lana: Not yet. But trust me, when he approaches you - and he will - Lionel is going to make you an offer that is hard to resist. No matter what the bribe, you will come to us before you breathe a word to Lionel Luthor.
Dr. Groll: With all due respect, I work for Lex and not his girlfriend.
Lana: I'm not interested in your respect, Dr. Groll. I'm much more interested in your 14 years of employment here, your two girls that are now in prestigious prep schools, that new home that you just built on Sparling Lane. You have a pretty wonderful life.
Dr. Groll: Are you threatening me?
Lana: Well, it just came to my attention that if the government or your colleagues were to find out that you were secretly testing alien weapons, this life that you have worked so hard for may take an unfortunate turn.

i think shes becoming a little dark too.
i mean threatening him
and the money equals power thing too.
that shocked me when i watched it.
i was just like "omg. she just said that."

She said Money=power=good...GOOD. Plus no duh, I thought she was a little slow on the whole money=power thing...Of course money-power..That goes without saying. She said she wanted to do good with that power not bad? Didn't you watch that part too or did you go into lala land

It was just a threat..Mean and harsh but not evil..We don't know if she would of really followed through on the threat.

I really did enjoy most of this episode. the downers were very minor (i just thought it was a bit cheesy at the end with Martha changing her mind and saying that what's-his-name (the Mexican boy) seemed exceptional and deserved citizenship...i just thought "what exactly has he done to make him seem exceptional to you? All he did was run away to find his mother.") but yeah, Chimmy was so cute and entertaining. And I did like that Lana is gradually showing her appreciation of power and becoming more like Lex in that respect. It's so ironic, I love it! twisted The meteor-affected farmer was pretty cool to have to deal with too. Oh, yes, and of course Lex's walk down the hall of 33.1 was AWESOME! He is soooooo becoming evil, it's great!
(I missed having Loliver in this episode tho. cry )

She wouldn't have to, her threat was so effective that no follow up was needed. I do think she is turning evil. If you are talking harsh and mean, that is how she treats and talks to Clark, this blackmail is pure evil.
