Akila_Ishtar KitsuneChan8888888 Wow... I think you're like... the first person I've ever met that likes Shaadi... XD;; Hehehe, I know me too. Most people hate him. Good for you Masami! It's nice to mix things up! <3 Wow, I like shadi too! He's neat. He's all ancient and mysterious with his cool accent and clothes and culture and stuff. Most people do hate him though.

I don't hate him. But, I'm thinking it is probably cause he acts very robotic and f*cks up people's lives.... like Malik's for example. Was that really necessary? o__O;; I know if he hadn't done that, then Malik wouldn't of went to Japan and then he wouldn't have been able to give Yuugi the Sennen Rod... but honestly, was that the only way Shadi could figure out how to get the Rod to Yuugi? I mean, Malik went through a lot of pain b/c of the tournament, and he also caused all the characters involved great pain as well. I really think there could've been another way.

@Ro-Enzai: I don't think Malik's mother was given a name. That just pisses me off to no extent. Cause she is involved in a lot of the stories I write, and she NEEDS a name... *growls*
@Kitsune-chan: Heh... ^^;; See you agree with me.. although, I wasn't picturing it quite as simple as that... but at any rate you made me laugh! XD;;
However... I wonder how Malik would feel about some random guy in a turban pulling off his shirt like that...

And yes, a lot of the parents need names... For some reason though I've always had a feeling Jounouchi's mom's name is Kaoru. *shrug* I have no idea why I would imagine that b***h with such a nice name but whatever...

...How many of the parents that we know of have names?
And for that matter...
How many parents have we actually SEEN?
o.0 We've heard that Honda has a ... was it his sister?
Does anyone else think that it's a little weird that none of their parents seem to care that their kid is going here-and-there, skipping class, running off to foreign countries to do... weird things?
It's like all the parents are oblivious or just dumb...

Yea, I always thought that was pretty stupid. They must've all been failing school, considering all the days they've missed... o__O;;
Most of the parents in Yuugiou are big assholes if you think about it. They are either dead, abusive or never around. No wonder many of the characters are so screwed up. XD;;

XD Yeah, Rule of YUU*GI*OU #32: All parents suck. Lessee... Yuugi's mom is seen a couple times in the manga and once in the anime, though her name is never stated. Yuugi's dad is never seen, though it's been said by Takahashi Sensei (I have no reference, but I remember hearing that at least...) that his dad is always away on business. Kaiba's and Mokuba's parents are obviously dead, and same with their adoptive father, Gouzaburo. I'm pretty sure their actual parents' names (not even surname) have ever been stated. Jounouchi's dad's boots have been seen once in the manga, though his name was never stated. Shizuka's mom has been shown once in the anime, though her name was never stated either. Nothing has ever been said about Anzu's parents. I think Honda's mentioned his parents in the manga... and he does have a sister, who has a kid named Jouji. He also has a dog named... can't remember the name, but it was stated. XP Otogi's dad is a psycho who I'm pretty sure died. I don't think his name was ever stated either and he always wears a clown suit. Mai's parents were never mentioned. Don't believe the names of Malik's and Isis' parents were ever stated, though both are shown. Bakura's parents we know don't live with him (he lives on his own because he's considered dangerous or something stupid like that) but his dad was shown once in a flashback in the anime. Names were never stated, though Bakura does have a little sister, Amane, who is most likely dead. She is never shown, only mentioned. Rebecca's parents apparently don't live with her. I guess she lives with her Grandpa, Arthur. Her parents are never mentioned... So I guess all of them really do have uncaring parents or parents who don't live with them except for Honda and Anzu, who we're not sure about. Yuugi's mom seems to not notice how often he's gone; his grandpa probably covers for him though, since he does know all that goes on and allows it.

Well... I just remembered one parent that was named and that we get to hear speak and actually SEE. Atem's dad... uh... Akanadflakj something... You'll remember it. And obviously we see Seth's dad, Akhnadin (sp) once... And I think we see Seth's mom too... when his dad is riding off in a flashback and little chibi seth is holding some chick's hand who is just kinda... staring... o.o
But yeah, is pharaoh whatshisname Atem's ACTUAL father? Cause uh... I'm not seeing where he get's his drop dead sexy looks from...
Same with Seth... Must be their grandparents or something... *shrugs*

Weren't Mai's parents some rich couple... I remember she said she was all alone in her big mansion most of the time, they were always off doing rich people things... I guess.
But yea, nice over view. XD;
And yea... Otogi's daddy scared me. o__O; That whole Otogi Dungeon Dice thing was completely different in the manga too. Everything else was rather simular, but that was kinda out of no where.
And why does everybody say Bakura's sister is dead...? What happened to create that theory, wasn't he writing a letter to her in the first series of the manga...?

Hey... I never thought of that before... Why do we think Amane is dead?
...I heard he was in denial or something... that's why he was writing the letter.
Eh, did it come from one of those 'interviews' with Takahashi-sama?
...Someone told me that during one of those interviews he told them that Seto's original last name was 'Mitsugi'. Anyone know if that's true or not?

XD;; But yeah, there's Ahknemukhanon and Ahkunadin. I remember seeing Set's mother in a flashback as well I think... And yes, Ahknemukhanon was Atem's real father. XD;;
Akila: I heard that it was said Amane was dead in the character guide book that still hasn't been released in America... ~_~ Then again, that could've just been a retarded rumor and I'm totally wrong. That's why I said most likely... But yeah, he was writing a letter to her in the manga, so most who do believe she is dead also believe that Bakura is, as Marik said, in denial.
Marik again: And yeah... I've heard of that same Mitsugi "interview." XD;; I have never seen any proper record of this or any translations or citings from the character guide book. Not saying it isn't true, but the chances that Takahashi Sensei ever put Kaiba's real surname out are pretty slim...
