"With all your studies? I highly doubt that. But it's okay. You don't have to talk if you don't want to." Relm sighed softly. "But I interrupted your studies. Maybe I could help? I may not know your technical magic jargon but I could quiz you if you want."

Relm smiled brightly, giving him a friendly wink. "Call it my way of making it up to you for obviously making you uncomfortable & messing up your study session." Again, an apology that was not -but honestly meant.

"Who knows, maybe if you tried some of your new spells I could "see" where there were missing parts."

"GMKI portion?" Relm laughed. "See? You've already lost me. Comes from growing up in the only magical village in my old world, I suppose."

"Well that's decent of them." Her tone did not quite match her words, making them almost sarcastic. "I'd hope they wouldn't throw you to the street after wearing you out with tests."

Then she bit her lip. "Is it really tough, do you think" After learning all the spells she could from the esper gems while adventuring the pictomancer had not really thought to push herself further in any magic other than her art-magic. Now, she was mildly curious whether she should advance. Or even if she could.

"So this library is something really important, huh?" Her light green eyes flickered dangerously & Relm chuckled softly at her new notion. "I don't suppose you could sneak in. Probably warded & spelled & otherwise protected."

The fact that she had even considered such an option showed how much time she spent with her old adventuring companion, Locke -much less the mischievous cait that resembled her friend in attitude & behavior so much. "Although often magic places forget to guard against normal ways to get in much as normal places usually aren't prepared for magic."

Her eyes twinkled, and it would be difficult to say whether she was serious or joking.

Relm waved off his fretting with a laugh. "I was only joking, Scholar!" But was she really?

Laughter was still in her eyes as she spoke in a more serious tone. "I know you'll do fine. You're good." Then she chuckled. "Besides, just look at how much studying you put into it!"

Somewhat offkey singing can be heard coming closer and closer to the pair, the tune, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer! It is obviously Naruto, dressed in a bright, orange coat with dark blue lining on the sides, his orange pants, but dark blue boots and an orange beanie on his head, replacing his headband for the time being. He swings his arms about, his bags swinging, laden with gifts. The ninja was quite happy, his girl with him, shopping and Keme out and about as well, finally being released from the house after getting enough rest and food in him.

Keme follows after the two blondes, a soft smile on his face, his hands stuffed in his pockets. He was glad Naruto got distracted in the grocers so he could pull Rikku aside and get her help on the gift he was getting for Relm. He would have to come back into the city in a few days to pick it up, but he hoped she liked it. He folds his ears back when Naruto hit's a bad note, tempted to smack the back of his head....and does so, earning a curse and glare from the shinobi, but at least he stopped singing.

With what happened to who, Kaleb wanted to ask, but he didn't get a chance.

He couldn't help but smile at seeing all those friends he hadn't talked to in so long, so much had changed for him since the last time he had seen any of them. It didn't take him long to fall back into the same role he had fit earlier though, staying quiet with a smile and letting someone more talkative than himself do all the explaining.

Relm giggles, her light green eyes bright as she presses the fingers of her now empty hands to her mouth. Rikku is shouting at Naruto to let Keme get to her sister & he should not be throwing snow at someone who had so recently been sick from overexposure to cold, all while laughing merrily.

Noticing that Kaleb had once again gone silent & not knowing he did not realize it was Keme's name she would have said regardless of seeing him or not, Relm took his hand & squeazed it gently. Her eyes were bright with gratitude. "You thought better than I did, then. I could have painted so many other things... I didn't think clearly. You did. And you'll think clearly on your test too."

After chasing Keme around for a minute, the shinobi stops and huffs, looking annoyed at the taller male, but he decides to let it go. He rushes back over to Rikku, but upon seeing Kaleb, smiles brightly and waves to him. "Hey Kaleb, long time no see!!" he says cheerfully, happy to see the small, blond Audio again.

Keme stops and turns around, still laughing as he follows after Naruto, grabbing the bags the ninja dropped in his rush to throw snowballs at him. He pads over to the group, but heads straight to Relm, leaning down and kissing her cheek as greeting. Then he looks over to Kaleb and smiles brightly, "Heya Kaleb, haven't seen you in a while, how've you been?" he asks.
