Bloody Shadow Ace of Death Bloody Shadow Ace of Death I'm trying, without success, not to laugh any harder at this than I already am! mrgreen But getting back on topic, there's got to be something wiser/better than...you know...to do with him. Other than the obvious, I think I'd just have him keep me company. He's a cool guy. I'd have him escort me places, go to picnics. Stuff like that. Just enjoy his company. Oh, and instead of "Master", I'd make him call me "Cupcake" biggrin Cupcake, *snerk*. XD I like the company idea. I always enjoy hearing stories from cool people about their strange travels and adventures. And if anybody has some stories, it'd be Alucard. Besides that, I think we'd get along pretty well anyway...which is almost scary. I had a dream Alucard and I went on a "Dracula's Castles" tour. The tour guide was telling us stuff about the history and the castles, and meanwhile Alucard was telling me everything the tourguide got wrong. XD It was pretty cool. That would probably happen a lot if someone traveled with him. He also gave me a piggy-back ride in that dream. I'd probably hve him do that a lot. And tell me stories. That sounds fun. Oh man I didn't think I was single handedly going to turn the Hellsing Organization into the Make a wish foundation! rofl blaugh rofl

Pervertedness aside, I think most of all, I'd want to learn from him. I like being able to learn from people. If they have no intellectual value then most of the time I'm just not interested in them. But Alucard has over 500 years of experience, and that has to count for something. I think knowledge is one of the most valuable secrets someone can have.
He could even help me with my world history homework. =D

Plus, he has some pretty unique ideas on things, no explanation needed there. And, like you say, he has 500 years of experience to back them up. It'd be interesting just to hear what he thinks of world events in light of this. Heck, he could probably write the -real- world history!

Geez. gonk But the question that's been bugging me a lot...After over 500 years, do you think Alucard believes in God? He mentions hell a lot, I believe. Most people would assume that God, Heaven, and Hell all go hand in hand. So maybe he does, but he just knows he's destined to end up in hell anyways? Or maybe he just means the metaphorical hell? o.o Sorry, I tend to think too much about these things. sweatdrop

There's something in the manga (which I don't have with me at the moment) that I want to look for in regards to that. But I will say that he probably does. Just from what he says a lot of the time you get that feeling. Plus, while he'll happily lambast Catholics, he doesn't diss God (or Protestants) that I can remember anyway. Like I said, let me get back to you.

I think his thing against Catholics comes from a certain incident that wasn't revealed (to my knowledge at least) until the flashback in chapter 77, I believe. I'm not sure on that. But it's somewhere in the late 70's I think. At first I didn't realize what I had just seen, and then when I thought about it, I really almost wished I hadn't figured it out. I was like, " gonk Well, that could explain A LOT." EDIT: Annnnnd, once again, I've gone off topic. I should probably make a new topic. Would that be okay? And can I include these posts in the first post?

Besides that...part, Dracula had a long history of conflict with the Vatican. He did not appreciate their attempts to rule countries through the Church, and they did not like his means of fighting the Muslims. But they allowed him free rein, because he sort of blocked the Muslims' way to Europe.

WOW we go into religion off this topic perhaps we need a new topic to discuss this further. Sounds to me like people will be quite interested it. Well I don't want to be a bother but let's continue with the hiring out of Alucard. I don't think he had done enough jobs to keep Hellsing organization a float. If I had the money I would get the worst job just so I could get Alucard to do it for me. Could you imagine Alucard in a hot dog suit passing out free samples?

What kind of day care. Some times I think he ready does that with Sera. Wait ...wait, if Alucard did do Daycare do you think he would spank unruly children?

Gorenza > Good idea. Anybody want to start a "Religion Beliefs of the Hellsing Cast" or similar thread? Or shall I.
Boy, this thread sure leads to some interesting discussions! I'll just say that most kids nowadays could do with some...Alucard-style parenting.
Hm, maybe he could hynotize them.
Yeah, I think dealing with Seras counts as daycare. Plus, he's been with Integra since she was a tween.
