"Really?" Illusen said, half of her mind going to her old lover everytime the word "human" was mentioned and the other half still wanting to know more about the hawk. "But... how is it a merlin hawk?"

Persephony blinked, at first confused by what she meant. "Oh!" She laughed, shaking her head. "On Earth there is a species of hawk, or a kind, that is called a Merlin Hawk. It is said that Merlin chose his name after meeting one such bird that befriended him, and sacrificed himself to save whom we now know as Merlin." She explained, stroking the hawks feathers gently with two fingers. Galadrims great golden eyes fixed on Illusen, looking her over with slight suspicion.

"Oh. Oh, oh right!" Illusen responded dumbly looking up at the sky. "Erm... so... Galadrim... How did you come up with the name?"

Persephony let Galadrim shift to her shoulder, looking down as she started walking in a direction, not really caring which. "The name....part of it is from my mother, her name was Galadriel. But the main reason is personal." She replied softly, feeling him nuzzle her cheek comfortingly. She touched her head lightly to his to say thanks, his sharp talons not bothering her.

"Oh... yeah," Illusen murmured as she remembered the time that Persephony went through when she lost her mother.

Persephony paused in her step, looking back at Illusen. "Did you sleep with him? The human I mean. I know its a personal question, but I'm just wondering. You don't have to tell me I suppose." She sighed, thinking of her mother as well as someone else.

Persephony nodded in response, probably seeming even odder than she was already for asking something of that sort. "No, it doesn't. Have you ever had a child?" She responded, Galadrim seeming slightly agitated, drawing her attention. She whispered something to him, and then lifted her arm up, giving him a small push when he took off, watching as he flew off, her eyes sad again.

Without thinking, Illusen answered, "No. But I have seen every animal here give birth... apart from a merlin hawk."

"Merlin Hawks are no different from any other hawk. Lay eggs and builds a nest to raise them. But good...I know this may sound harsh, but wait before having a child with him. We won't know how the planet will react to them arriving again." She advised, not wanting anyone to go through what she did.

Persephony stopped and turned to her, a very slight smile on her face. "I would sense a tiny presence inside of you." She started walking again, but slowly, parting the bushess up ahead and stepping into a large clearing where the mountains suddenly loomed up, a waterfall spilling down into a great lake. She walked to the edge and sat down, staring out as the light glittered off of the surface.

"Oh, right..." Illusen said, her voice suprisingly sad. Sitting down next to Persephony, she asked, "Have you ever given birth to a child?"

She stiffened slightly, bringing her knee's into her chest. Quiet for a moment, she debated on how to answer. "...Once. They were faternal twins." She said softly, a hand slipping into the folds of her cloak and holding onto something tightly, yet gently at the same time. "Did the incident end up killing anyone on our side? I would have thought that the planet would have done something besides wipe the humans memories of us."

Her eyes widening, Illusen asked another question. "What... happened to them?" After asking the question, she pulled back and told Persephony that she didn't have to tell her.
