Seeing 'Qua at the Halloween party made me realized just how much I miss her. It was so good to she her smile, to hear her laugh. I dreamed about her last night, of when we were children. It reminded me of something I had almost forgotten. I know what is is now though.
Oh and I almost forgot! I can't believe I have a baby brother now! It's about time, outnumbered by all these girls! I'll have to make sure he receives a proper boyhood, knowing the women around here, he'd probably end up doing something girly otherwise.

Well, the girls won't let me around little Reese while he's so small. I think they are afraid I'll break him or something. He's pretty funny though he keeps trying to pull his halo down off his head and stick it in his mouth to suck on it. Anyway, since I had some time on my hand and a distraction, I snuck off to see if I could rediscover what I saw in my dreams the other night. It took me a really long time to finally find the place, it had been awhile after all, but once I did I discovered I really had been right about what it was all along! It was a bit dirty, so I cleaned it up until it sparkled and then put it back. Now all I have to do is wait for the right time.

Sally, Rosie, Reese and I all decided to go to the Summer party. Guess who was there! immortalmina Hula Bob walked out of the bar. It was ready. His party had everything it needed. There were tiki torches out and lit, food set out on tables. beach blankets set out one the sand in all different colors, his hammock was ready to bet sat in and lastly Jazz and the Beach Bums were playing music.
He walked over to the band and smiled. "Thanks, dude and dudettes. This party won't be the same without all of you." He smiled. He then walked over to the water and pointed his finger in the air. He shot off fireoworks.
The fireworks read. "PARTY ON THE BEACH COME AND JOIN!" [chainedfaye] Sally was busy in her garden watering her pumpkins. The summer heat sure had taken it's toll on them this year, but she was doing her best. She wiped the sweat off her forehead, wondering if perhaps she should take a break when a blast of fireworks caught her attention. A beach party? Well that sounded like fun. And refreshing. Perfect timing too. Emptying her water can, she rose and walked over to Rosie and Reese, wiping her dirty hands on her hips. "Rosie dear, seems like there's a beach party going on. Would you like to go?" Rosie glanced up from playing with Reese. She'd been trying to teach him how to count using flowers, but the little boy only seemed to be interested in crushing them in his hand and eating them. She sighed, but brightened up at the thought of a party. "Totally!" Do you think Rain will be there?!?" Her very first childhood friend, she often wondered what he was up to and still wore the rainbow bracelet he had made for her. For awhile she had been quite surprised that it had lasted for so long, but she figured it was just because she wanted it to stay so very much. The thought of meeting him again made her eyes twinkle with excitement. She'd been really rather lonely lately. A sly smile crossed the teen's lips..."You know Sally, I bet Hula Bob will be there!"
Sally cheeks blushed a bright red. "Now you!" That darn girl had been teasing her ever since she had come back saying what a handsome man Alaera's date had been. She shook her head. "Anyway, you think we should go tell the others? I'm not sure Ame would want to go, she's been in a bit of a mood since Raziel disappeared. Alaera's the same as well I think. And Sylve's off with Yuki I think, perhaps she'll show up though. But Asrai I think would like to go. Let's go get him."
The pumpkin pae bent over picking up Reese and settling him on her hip, before setting off in the direction of the lake, with Rosie close behind.
Asrai met them soon after. He had seen the fireworks as well and was on his way to the party. After hugging Rosie, he plucked the little boy from Sally's arms tossing him up in the air playfully. He adored the sweet toddler. "'Spose there will be any cuties for you to play with eh Reese?" Asrai rather hoped so, the boy seemed to be one of the few toddlers around anymore. He needed children his age to play with.
"Ah here we are!" The party seemed in full swing even though there wasn't too many people around yet. The band was pretty good, though for some reason, it made him sad. He thought back to his last dance -it seemed forever ago now. 'Qua. He tried to shake off his thoughts..."Rosie would you like to dance?" he asked handing the boy off to Sally again and taking the teen's hand. spookyx7 Aquamarine was swimming in the lake when the fireworks erupted. A wide smile formed across her face. She hoped that Rai would be there. She was missing him. Aquamarine swam to shore and walked after her legs replaced her tail. She saw him dancing and resisted the urge to run to him, instead she slowly walked over to watch him dance. [chainedfaye] As the song ended, Rosie took the moment to take a breathe and look around. Dancing was fun enough but not with her brother. A flash of blue in the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned to look. "Rain!" she called out happily running over to hug him. Asrai watched Rosie run away to her friend with a sad smile on his face. Well, there went his dancing partner. He wandered over to food table looking for some sort of drink. There was some sort cup made out of a hairy fruit with an umbrella sticking out. He shrugged and took a sip. "MMM not bad" he muttered to himself. He turned back to the party intending on going to sit with the band when he say her. "'Qua' he cried out, setting his drink down and rushing over. In his joy he forgot himself, hugging her to himself and spinning her around. spookyx7 Aquamarine felt herself being picked up and twirled before she could get a breath. She had held it in when seeing Rai rush to her. "Rai! I'm sooo happy you're here." She hugged him back tightly. [chainedfaye]
Asrai was just as happy to see her and he couldn't help the smile breaking out on his face when he heard her called him 'Rai. It just felt so...right. He pulled back to get a better look at her. "'Qua, you're even prettier now if that's possible. I've missed you so much!"
spookyx7 Aquamarine smiled back to reflect his smile. "Well, so are you." She giggled and then nodded, "I missed you a lot too. It's been lonely swimming by myself." She was so happy to see him again. [chainedfaye] Asrai continued to smile and resisted the urge to hold her close again, settling for holding her hand. "I've not been in the lake that much. I've got a little brother now and well had to save him from my Aunt and sisters." He chuckled. Looking around he noticed the food table. "Are you hungry? Thirsty? Want to dance?" He didn't care what they did as long as he was with her. spookyx7 Aquamarine squeezed Rai's hand, "Anything sounds good to me." She just was happy he was here with her. She wondered if they would have to party again and shook her head to clear that thought. It was time to be happy!

A Swim Back in Time http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=13844071[chainedfaye] As Asrai held 'Qua's hand at the party, the rising moon glittered off of her skin, illuminating it, making her eyes appear dazzling bright, her irises reminding him of something special....something important...his own yellow eyes almost lit up like a light bulb when he finally remembered what he was reminded of.
A large smile crossed his face. Now would be the perfect time. He turned his attention back on the beautiful lady standing next to him.
"'Qua, there's something I want to show you. Will you come with me? It's not very far?"
