Is felt lighter than she had in a while. She suspected that being apart from Giani, though necessary, had been wearing on her more than she would have first admitted. It felt nice to know she had a support system here at Uni as well as with him. Leaning against Ra as they walked back onto campus, she hugged his arm with a small smile.
"I really appreciate this Ra. You've really helped me a lot today," she said softly as she looked up at him.

"I've told you Is, I'm here for you, anytime you need me." He smiled and slipped his arm around her shoulders again.
"I've got to go and meet Obie, will you be all right now we've chatted and relaxed a bit?" he asked smiling down at her.

Israel returned his smile and stopped to slip her arms around him tightly.
"Thank you Ra. I might take you up on that offer a little more frequently if you don't mind," she said softly as she hugged him. "But I'll be alright for now," she smiled and looked up at him.

"Good." He said hugging her back and then releasing her. "Call me anytime you need me." He repeated as he stepped back and placed a hand on her cheek. "O.k." With another smile he stepped back and walked off towards the dorms where he had told Obie he come and hang out.

Is smiled as he placed his hand on her cheek and nodded her agreement. She would call him if she needed him. She needed to stop thinking she could do it alone. She was a social person and needed to be around people in order to be happy.
"Thank you Ra. I'll see you later," she smiled as he started towards the dorms.
Obie swallowed hard at the sight she saw. Israel hanging on Ra's arm, the both of them hugging, him putting his hand on her face. A rather intimate gesture, she thought. But he had promised. He swore he would never cheat on her, she reminded herself as she turned and walked into the dorm building and on up to her room. Besides they were friends. That wasn't completely outside the realm of friendship... was it? Walking into her room, she set her things down and went to the fridge to grab a drink. She was just being paranoid.

"Azizam." Ra said as he pushed the door to Obie's apartment open. "Hey, sorry I'm a bit late I ran into Iz." He smiled and shut the door behind him. "How's the studying going?" He asked as he took his scarf off and shrugged his coat to the floor. picking them both up he threw them over the arm of the sofa and walked over to slip his arms around her.

"I had to go to the library to get another book. I just got back, so no worries," she smiled and leaned into him. "But in all honesty, I'm dying for a break. I think I'm going to go mad with all of these books I have to read in order to write my paper," she sighed and lifted her head to trail kisses along his neck.
"How is Israel?" she asked breathing him in. See? Paranoid, she told herself. If he had had anything to hide, he wouldn't have mentioned meeting her.

"She was feeling a bit down." He said holding her close and placing a quick peck on her lips, stroking her hair lightly and stepping away to go and flop down onto the sofa. "So I took her out to cheer her up." He yawned a little and watched he with a smile. "And forget the books for this evening. I'm sure I can think up something to take your mind off them."

Obie followed him over to the sofa and smiled as she set her drink down on the coffee table.
"Oh you do?" she smirked and walked over to straddle across his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "And what would you have in mind?" she asked with a loaded smirk as she leaned forward to tease his lips lightly.

Ra smiled and wrapped his arms around her.
"Now, that would be telling." He smirked, stealing a kiss and resting his head on her shoulder. "Though first and not to be totally unromantic do you mind if I crash out for a bit." He smiled apologetically and squeezed her tighter. "I'm so tired. Will you join me?"

Obie blinked as he put her off.
"Tired?" she repeated. "It's the middle of the afternoon," she said swallowing hard as her paranoia seized her full force. It really wasn't like him to put her off so easily. Looking down into his eyes, she searched them for a moment and forced herself to relax.
"I... might join you in a bit. I really should keep going while I'm on a roll," she said pulling away to sit down on the sofa beside him with a small smile. "But... go ahead and lie down," she said with a nod towards her bedroom.

"I've been up since five." He said with another yawn. "Running, kendo, lectures all morning. Then lunch with Is took it out of me emotionally." He smiled and stood. Placing a kiss on her head. "You really won't join me?" He asked with a mock pout. "What if I get cold?"

"Um, no. I won't. And... I think I should just go ahead and get as much of this done as I can. Maybe you should go sleep in your room. I don't want to bother you," she said sliding down onto her knees and starting to pull her books out of her bag. She had to be wrong. She had to, she insisted silently. Ra wouldn't do anything to hurt her. She took a deep breath and looked up at him with a small smile. "It's up to you though."

Ra frowned a little and ran his fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry Obie, I should have gone to sleep in my room first, I just wanted to spend some time with you ... hold you a while." he sighed and picked his coat and scarf up again. "I'll set my alarm for an hour, then I should be on top form to take your mind off studying. I might even cook if you want?" He smiled and felt guilty. He'd honestly thought she woud have wanted to curl up with him.

Now she was torn. He wanted to be with her, to hold her, to do things for her... but later. And not only that, he was usually so good at picking up when she was distressed, but here he was actually leaving like she had suggested without even a second thought really.
Stop it, she ordered herself and stood up. Catching him by the hand, she smiled lightly and pulled him over to her room. The point was he wanted to spend time with her. That was all that should matter.
"I probably should take a break and a nap would probably do me some good," she said softly, taking his coat and scarf from him to toss them off to the side. "No point in sending you off just to have you return in an hour," she smiled up and him and pulled him down into a soft kiss.
