I mean, if someone broke into my house and tried to stab me to death, and seriously injured themselves in the process, i doubt anybody would feel sorry for them. Hell most people i know would say something along the lines of 'served that a*****e right.'

I've seen so many people go absolutely apeshit when I suggest that women who try to give themselves abortions with coathangers are no more deserving of pity than anyone else who's earned a Darwin Award. Using a match to look into a gas tank? Stupid. Attempting to steal electrical wire without shutting off the current? Stupid. Douching with bleach? Also stupid. I don't see what makes these women--that is, the few that actually exist--so special.

Beware the Jabberwock
Oh! Theallpowerfull isn't religious either! I don't know how I forgot about him. XD
I was just about to complain about the lack of name-dropping here. You're damn right I'm not religious. I'm not even atheist.
I just believe in human life. If something comes after then I'll deal with it after. For now, let's just lessen the casualties so that as many people as possible can get a chance to try out this game we call life.

P.S. They don't legalize prostitution, and it would actually be safer if legal and monitored by the government. Hmmm... people do that anyway. Let's not even get into heroine and the transmission of AIDS...

P.P.S. I agree with My Conscience about the killing women thing. mrgreen Just kidding!!!

Haha, sorry Donny. You know I love you. <33

And I'm actually for the legalization of prostitution. >.>

how do you plan on pulling that off while still beling pro life? Unless you want the prostitutes to give up the babies for adoption or keep them, and if that's the case, does the brothel provide them with income for the months they are pregnant?

How did I miss this thread?!

<----Atheist. I've been married for 3 years, and a mother for 4, and I'm not afraid to say it. biggrin

Also, maybe hire women with tubal ligations? Between a tubal, and the pill, and condoms...if any baby -was- conceived...I'd be inclined to check the baby for being the second coming of Christ, because that's something I'd classify as nearly miraculous. :/

I just noticed this thread too. I think I'm too spiritual for my own good sometimes, but I used to be kind-of Christian and now I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder about those guys ^_^ That's all I have to say I guess.

You'd treat it like any other job; maternity leave and then whatever that entitled you to.

Well, I have a religion...but it's not why I'm pro-life. I actually came back to Catholicisim partially because I'm pro-life.

I'm prolife because of legal, scientific, and social reasons.

Beware puts it best. If it was legal to kill born humans, I would have no problem with abortion being legal.

If I was for determining law based on my religion, adultery, lying, eating too much, etc. would be illegal. Now I'm starting to wonder if the 7 deadly sins would carry the death penalty xd But yeah, I follow my religion, other people follow theirs, others don't have a religion, pushing my religion on all of those other people makes absolutely no sense.
