Today I found a small package at our front door. By the looks of it, it seems to have been there for a while, unnoticed. I'll have to check that area more often, as there was also another note from Chiaku-sama, requesting that we see the doctor soon to ensure that Linnea is growing properly.
The package came with a note, and I was pleased to see that it came from my dear friend Buffy, who lives somewhere far, far away. We still manage to talk often though, and while I have told her about Linnea, she mentioned a small boy in her care, by the name of Eragon. We sent them a few small tokens, and in return, they sent Linnea some as well. Three small, wiggly stars in different colors. When she got them, she gave the yellow one to Lita, and the violet one to myself, and then gave the blue one to her doll, which she hugged tightly. Lita and I put the ones we recieved on her shelf, in case she wants to play with them at a later date, but for now she seems content with the blue one. It certainly seems to be her favorite color...
It was so nice to hear from Buffy and Eragon again! Today I'll have to take Linnea out shopping, to see if we can find something for them. Who knows, maybe Linnea and Eragon can have a playdate sometime!

She's... gone.
They all are, even Nekura, who just grew. From what I hear, he's certainly striking.
But that's not important. Why? Why did they leave? All of them!
That's not important either, I suppose. Finding them is.

Still gone. Except, Shin Daiko, from what I hear. It seems Faevan and Dio found him a couple days ago, much to my relief.
One down, six to go. If it takes this long, will they really disappear? I couldn't bear it if that happened to any of them...
I've been searching with Chiaku-sama, and a new villager by the name of Nosmirc. We met up with another unfamiliar one, Cirisse, and then with Cordain-san, the innkeeper. I'm grateful for ths support and the strength of our numbers, but a large party does impede out movement a bit. I just hope it won't hurt the children if we find them a tad delayedly.
If only she was here, she could help.

So much time has passed. Linnea has returned, as have all the other children. I've neglected this journal for far to long, but I promise not to anymore.
Chiaku-sama paid a visit to the teahouse this morning. I was busy cleaning up a mess Linnea made, but Hisa-san took care of the governess, thanks be. She too is worried about the lasting effects of our misadventure in the forest. I'll be taking Linnea to see the doctor soon, and Momo as well. She should like that, I hope.

There are two new Faelings. At least, I assume they're new. One of them is named Sylvia, and she seems a bright, cheerful thing. Her wings resemble those of a butterfly, and she's purple all over. Linnea seemed interested in her, but was more interested in her "brother" Shin Daiko. I'm glad she's managing to make friends.
The other is a wood Fae by the looks of it, all over brown and green and spiky. He's very cute too, but not quite as cheerful by the looks of him. Then again, I haven't gotten that much of a look at him yet. Who knows, maybe he'll be a friend as well.
We got another letter from the governess today, which I've pasted in.
School. That should be interesting.

Arriving at the Astora Village teahouse, the servant from the governor's manor knocked gently before, placing a packaged parcel on the doorstep. The rectangular box was decorated with roughly-cut blue and purple ribbons. Inside of the box is a scribbled note and a gift: Quote:  Dear Linnea,
I saw the rain the other day and thought of you. I like to play in the rain a lot and I think you should try it, too! But if you go out and play, you should take your mom with you, or you might get in trouble. I think she might not like the rain, though (at least Lady Chiaku doesn't). Here's something you can give to her then! It's an umbrella and it should help her be with you if you play in the rain.
