He said nothing but pulled out his neuralizer and sighed. "Standard issue for me. I've only had to use it once." He put it away and smiled a bit as he continued to look at the scenerey as they were getting near the city. "True these will help but I don't know, the press will be all over this like hounds, snooping around. I still think we'll need a story for the Signs all over Aekea."

G decided to divert from her usual path to work, stopping at G-Bucks. She entered, and found the place not too full. She slipped a napkin into her pocket, as she walked up to the register.

"Can I have a caramel latte?"

The girl at the register smiled, nodding her head. She repeated the order to someone else behind the bar.

"That'll be 300 gold," she said, cheerily.

G rustled in her pocket, finding the money.

"By the way, have you heard the latest news?" the girl said.

G paused for a moment. She found the last coin... but also something else. She pulled it out with her money, keeping it palmed in her hand as she slid the coins over.

"Why," G replied, pushing her shades to cover her eyes, "I haven't concerned myself with it too much."

G revealed her palmed object.
Her neuralizer.

"You shouldn't worry too much about it, either," she said, pushing the button.

The tell-tale red light flashed, as G got her coffee.

The girl blinked, a bit stunned, and then smiled.

"Have a nice day!" she said.

G nodded. "You too."

She went to the back of the store, and hunched herself over a table. She laid out the newspaper in front of her, reading it thoroughly.

"These leads... must make new ones..."

G pulled out the napkin from her pocket, along with her pen. She took notes on the article - gathering as much as she could about what the general media had found. Fortunately, they hadn't found much - the article had a few theories, but nothing substantial.

"This will all be explained away by a hacker," she mumbled to herself. "That'll be my lead. Now... I need a bit more information... and a scapegoat."

She rolled up the newspaper, and stuffed it into her coat pocket.

"Well. To the Times."

G shrugged, leaving G-Bucks, coffee in hand.
Her cellphone rang in her pocket. She fumbled around for it for a bit, flipped it open, and saw it was Agent SK44.

"Yeah," she answered, sipping some coffee.

"I was about to call HQ and see what all the fuss about the signs was about," G replied. She took a sip of her coffee, and continued, "Anyhow, I'm trying to minimize the amount of panic this thing is causing. So far, G-Bucks is under control. It's just one place, but it's a start."

She took a peek in her pocket.

"I think you've got a whole other problem with the media, don't you? I'm here to explain this signs business away. What do we know so far?"

Speaking into his phone, SK44 said to G, "All we know are the signs are localized in the Aekea area and got into Minoko's computer. What is the cover story we have for this?" Turning to Minoko he said, "You can where those civilian clothes if you want, I am planning on having a look around with no one noticing me. Call me if you find anything or need help." With that said, he got out of the car and disappeared from sight quickly.

"Hackers," G said. "Some punks from the tech school got bored. We're trying to localize them as we speak. Bring 'em down before they hack into Barton, you know? They used a search engine to find their image - the logo of a home-based computer graphics company. We think they stole some of their highly innovative designs to develop a computer game. They hacked everything else to track down the interests of their potential buyers - not to mention snag a few gold here and there for their advertising campaign."

G chuckled. "It's elaborate, sure, but that's what the media wants - a story. I'm going to go make it."

Agent Minoko sighed as he started to walk around, taking a few pictures of the signs with his camera. He grinned a bit before he then started into the faktori, taking his time to linger around before he started looking for 'painter' of the art that had been painted on the walls and grounds of Aekea

He sighed a bit as he walked up to Bildeau and flahsed his ID badge. "I'm agent Sano of the Gaian Police Department, Computer and Technical attack department. I'd like to look over the matter of Bloudeau's malfuntion, no if's ands or buts." Bildeau complied as he showed him where they had 'stored' their brother. he was still active, but unable to move. He walked in and sighed as he called SK44 "I'm going to need you here SK44. I think I found the source"
