I don't know how to describe the attraction properly, but I'll try. It is something about the "exotic" that fascinates people. Since I live in a country that has a Caucasian majority, I think that seeing something "out of the ordinary" once in awhile peaks my interest. So honestly, when I see a person of Indian, Asian, or even African decent, it peaks my interest. It's not something I see everyday. They have features that I don't often get to immerse myself in, and therefore I find attractive to a degree. I agree that there are going to be people from each ethnic/racial background that aren't what would be considered "beautiful" nowadays, but hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

I have to say that I do tend to prefer asian men... but it's kind of silly to obsess over them and lug them all together by saying "Asian men (or women) are hot!!!1!!!1!!!" gonk

I always kind of liked Asian guys, but not to the point where I would look only for Asian guys or lost interest in other races.. I did think Asian boys were a bit feminine for my taste tho .. Then, I met my current boyfriend. ^^ He's Asian but looks really manly and tough and stuff. :p I think hes soooo hot, but apparently he isn't モテル at all with Japanese girls. ^^; Well , fine with me. ^^
Anyway, I really do believe race or even looks have little to do compatibility for love or dating and in my experience, when you start liking someone (a lot) for who they are , you will find that they become "your type" somehow. :p At least that's what usually happens with me. ^^;
