Credentials: I have been making banners and other sorts of web graphics for about five years now. Over this time I have picked up a variety of skills with banner making. I use Adobe Photoshop and Imageready CS to create my banners and graphics. Also I love looking through different types of fonts to find the correct type for the job. I've also worked in a few breedables shops as a tagger and colorer at times so I know how to manipulate designs.
Referrals: I've helped Merci` and Trivii`both in the past with graphics.
Reason: Because I really do like to play in photoshop and create graphics and when I have projects to work on I find it is much more entertaining then not. Plus I genuinely like the shop and believe that my graphics style could be used to make some interesting banners.
Other Comments: I'm not sure how this job would go for Nadyrr and getting him with other Empyreans...but I'd say he could easily be the sort to be bullied into helping to put up banners of some sort. smile

I have alot of friends in different area, so I also have alot of people to rp with, as well as talk to in the other threads. Also I work for a few other shops, so I know how to draw people in when I believe a shop would be a great place to rp.
Referrals: Skie hopefully, as well as my friend and a fellow lurker Teigra.
Reason: Because this shop is amazing, and it being a drama free zone, that is what alot of my friends are looking for. They want a place where they won't be judge, is always got something going on, and can just have fun. By being able to show them this place it would bring in alot of great rpers. Plus it will allow me to have Yalitza meet some of the others.

Credentials: I do certs and banner/divider graphics for my own shop and have done them for other shops in the past. I also designed and run my own website. I can provide samples of my work if needed.
Referrals: I don't know anyone that could be a referral other than people who own pets from the Beat Generation. kaliskanny might also refer me since I did graphic work for one of her old shops.
Reason: I love doing graphics. It's actually what I went to school for. Plus, I want to help pretty up threads around the guild and help other players/Empyrs make their journals look nice.
Other Comments: I'll do might best if hired. With my girl having to restart friendships, I'm hoping a job that gets her out and around might help introduce her to others and help her make friends.

Credentials: Abacus is a self-taught photographer (as much as I can assume) who can develop film and produce a crisp image.
I, Marushii, guest color at Audio Rhetoric, run Secrets of the Amazon. and have even worked for shops that have kicked the bucket. I'm an on-and-off colorist in need of something to color, to be honest.
Referrals: In the world of Empyreans, practically anyone and everyone who's encountered Abacus can attest to his photographic habits: Cyphr, Daggart, Biwa, Morrow, and Lelaus just to name a few.
Out of Empyr, SkieBorne, Lythiaren, nattychan, and lilwerewolfgirl can attest to my coloring skill.
Reason: Abacus: I'm an aspiring photographer -- armed with a camera and a smile, I wish to obtain an apprenticeship to further my understanding of photography and art. I know enough to point and click, but I wish to further my skills to produce tasteful photographs that not only aid my photographic memory, but are enjoyable to look at as well.
From Abacus' player's perspective, I wish to fulfil this position in order to improve my coloring skills. I know the basics, and I'm currently in the process of updating my lineart, which leaves me with very little to practice on. Coloring the NPCs would not only help the shop, but give RPers a crisper image of the RP in progress. =D
Other Comments: To showcase Abacus' talent, he took a picture of professor Tamerind... However, during developing her colors may have more or less been tweaked. He still has the negatives, though, and can easily develop it again with the right colors. =3

Reason: Because I think it would be fun! I'd love to be able to write up a synopsis of an event or class that I've been a part of, and it would help me to develop my own writing. Have to keep in practice, after all!
Also, Zethyr has engaged in an extensive amount of journal-keeping lately, and this would suit him perfectly.
Other Comments: I feel this is what I've been looking for, in just one more thing I can do to get involved with this shop. I'm picking back up full steam with tons of enthusiasm! =D

Credentials: I have been filling the position for two stages now, and as I am soon to take my exam for Stage Two, would like to solidify this position as not just an Apprenticeship, but as a full career.
Referrals: Requiem and Khamsyn can vouch for me, as they have worked in close proximity with me and can attest to my competance and my work ethics.
Reason: Aside from the fact that I nearly live in the Library anyway and might as well do something useful while I'm there...I honestly do love cleaning up the books, checking them in or out, helping students find what they need and learning while I'm at it.
Other Comments: I intend on applying for the Career of Teacher's Assistant as well when I become a Stage Two, but I do not think this will interfere with my job as Library assistant in any way.
