21 clarinets in the marching ensemble. 3 in leadership, 9 returning, and 9 freshmen.
For concert, there are about 28 between all the band classes (We have 3. Concert, Symphonic and Wind Ensemble). I dunno how many are in each.

In the 8th grade band alone I think it's 6 or 7 of us, in our concert group (7th and 8th) it's somewhere between 10 and 20 although I think it's closer to 15 (I really don't know how many clarinets there are in the 7th grade band, except for that there are a lot) and in our parade band (6th, 7th and 8th) it's less than 23 (3 more than we have in our combined 7th and 8th) It's sad, our combined total is no more than 23 yet (except for drums who we really aren't behind by much) we are the biggest section (our band is tiny!) but in our small band I am one of the better clarinets! mrgreen

Today we started a new trimester and we found out that we only have 3 flutes, including me. Last year we had 12 flutes. Our band is puny this year because the trimesters screwed everything up. ninja ninja ninja

In Wind Ensemble there are 8 trumpets, in Jazz band there is technically one taking the class but I come in during my lunch and play and another trumpet player comes in on occasion. Lastly, in Pep band...*sniffles*...I play alone. crying

Crazy Bananna Two in lower brass smile Me, teh tuba player of awesomeness, and a trombone. We're small. Lucky you have a lower brass section! We have no lower brass to speak of, and the only brass we have at all is 4 trumpets! So guess who gets to play the brass part! Me! On Clarinet! and It doesn't sound as good as you would if we had a trombone or Tuba!
