"I never was good at amusing my self with out video games. But not even that can help here really." He shrugged, "Maybe, but it's going to take a bit of time I guess."
He frowned, "Only a week or two by now, I've honestly stopped keeping track just like everything else."

"Ahh..." Amaya headbobbed slowly. "I dunno if it's better to count the days or just let them pass by like nothin'. I realised not too long ago that I've been here for over a year." Though this didn't seem to bother her that much like the other things they had talked about.

Miller shrugged and grinned, "It's like an endless summer break, you don't bother to care about the days." he pondered over her comment about which would be better though, "Probably not to count at all unless you wanted to remember a certain date really."

"Yeah, though there isn't much to remember. Save for your birthday or something." The girl shrugged her small shoulders that carried her thick lizardy neck and muzzle.

Miller nodded, "Birthdays, do they even matter here? I've seen people older then my parents and met a girl who looked younger then me but managed kick my a** halfway across her room."

Amaya gave a snort, yellow eyes still looking around for the boy's clothes. Jeeze, how far away was the party the other night? "I think it has to do more with the person. I personally don't care to remember my birthday. S'not like I really look like a 17-year-old anymore."

Miller stopped noticing a cooler half buried in the sand near by and started heading towards it, a semi buried fire near by it, "True I guess, I suppose over time views change because things that used to matter no longer matter any more." He started to shift through the sand near the camp fire hoping maybe his clothes had just gotten covered up.

"Yeah, pretty much." The iguana said, then watched him head over to another area. She followed and looked around to see if any buldges in the sand stood out before shifting around with her claws.

Miller continued to dig before finally pulling out a pair of blue jeans with a grin, "Well thats one problem solved." He turned back to Amaya tilting his head a bit, "You seem like somethings bothering you."

Once his pants were found Amaya stood up and brushed off her hands. Yellow eyes blinked and she looked over at him, her head tilted in that reptilian way so she could see him.
Well... she supposed things were bothering her. Alec mostly. She hadn't even realised how emotionless and robotic she was being. A frown played on her features and she looked down.
"A friend of mine lost his legs a couple of days ago after a change. He- ... I'm just really worried about him." She said, looking back up at him.

Miller frowned thinking back to Kikues change, once again he started to wonder just how lucky she was compared to some like Thom who was turning in to a snake or this Alec person now.
"Does he have a way to get around or anything at all? The labtechs can't be cruel enough to just leave him lying around unable to get anywhere. Right?"

"Well, I called the labs for a wheelchair and they said it would be there in a couple days... but he said he needed to be alone for awhile. So I just left him some food and had to leave." Amaya said sadly. It didn't take a genious to figure out how she felt about him. If not a very strong friendship then it was something more... which was the case when it came to Amaya.

Miller continued to dig about finally pulling out his shirt, having finished that he looked up to Amaya again frowning, "You should check in on him, if they haven't delivered it yet then for all you know he's still trapped up in his room..."

"Oh, I want to!" Amaya said a little more enthusiastic then she had intended. "But... I don't want him to yell at me or anything..." She frowned.

Miller frowned, "It's hard to say then, I say you should go visit him and see if he's okay, even if he gets mad it's better then not going and learning that something went wrong."
