It's so much fun, it can be so beautiful when there is miles of it untouched and it makes hte trees look so pretty sometimes. ^^ Winter can be very pretty it just depends on where you're looking.

I remember when my teeth were falling out, I would get impatient and start pulling them out even if it hurts like hell. If I get very nervous, I start chewing on my hands. As for relieving pain, Motrin packs a punch. I hate recieving pain when I'm not the one causing it.

Mariana: Yeah they do. But my town isn't that bad, the only bad t:hing is the slush and the brown snow around the curbs and on the street, but that's about it.
Astrid: my friend pulled her teeth out when she was a small kid and didn't know that they weren't supposed to come out all at once so she went around practically toothless for a year XD

I cause myself pain through not acting when I should, or through taking the harder of two options just because I'm mad at myself. It doesn't really make me feel more alive or dead than I was before, although it does become a salient feature of the emotion I'm currently feeling. If I'm really happy and it's cold, it'll be envigorating, but if I'm sad, it'll be miserable. At the same time, if I'm angry, it will be harsh, and if I'm tired it'll make me want to find a warm blanket to curl up in and go to sleep.
Mariana: I love Chicago in the winter. The sky an endless mass of white, the buildings covered with snow. The contrast between the snow and the shovelled sidewalks and plowed streets. The frigid wind blowing in from the lake. Plus it's Chicago, and I love Chicago. heart
One reason I want to visit Russian cities is to see what a real city winter is like.

Mariana the Deloved Jizo ++ Seriously, you aren't build for the cold and dark.I'm seriously not. I need to move somewhere that is bright, but not too hot or humid. Maybe I should move to Singapore or something. There are a lot of Buddhists there, and most people speak English. I'd fit right in! xd Xillania One reason I want to visit Russian cities is to see what a real city winter is like. Ha, that's kind of why I'd like to go to Sapporo, Japan. 3nodding

I hear Japan is beautiful in the winter. I believe it. Especially the older buildings.

Xillania I hear Japan is beautiful in the winter. I believe it. Especially the older buildings. There's an annual snow festival in Sapporo. I figured that if I went to Japan, that city would probably be best for me, since it still has winter (so this Canadian won't be too out of his climate at first), and Sapporo has the benefits of being a big, modern city without the crowds like Tokyo.

Wow. We got really off topic on this one. xD The Snow festivals of Sapporo have nothing to do with pain, not counting frst bite. x3

Yeah, ripped. Like when you're wearing rings and you're around machinery and it catches on and then it goes all ZOMGRIPPAGEOFYOURFINGER And you no longer have one. Or like...the bone is still there just not the skin and its this bloody mess. Ahh...Safety Slides can be quite gruesome.
Steamed would hurt too...although I think boiling is much more painful.
