Not to mention those books are just so doggoned HUGE. You could do a nice, accurate movie for the first couple, but the longer the books get, the harder to cram all of the details in. I was kind of amazed how they whacked out the entire normal school year in the GoF...but relieved the prom was handled so well. As a friend of mine observed, it was very true to reality, as to the behaviors of the kids in their various situations at the prom.

mrgreen .....The first two were decently accurate, but the third, even though the best by far, still upset me quite a lot. And GoF movie was evil...they killed it!
And OotP, I hear, is gonna be a bit more cut-paste than GoF was! Lupin has a minimal role, at best.. I mean, come on!
