"Pretty much. And then..." He shrugged again. "Here we are. People come from all over the world, too. I met a Japanese chick a while back."

Miller gave the best he could of a low whistling sound, he never was good at it, still the thought of people from Japan here? That just seemed obscure and a bit on the troublesome side of going through to get them here. "So far the most exotic thing I met was a soccer player turning in to a snake from some where over the pond."

Sid tried to think of if he'd met the guy, but his memory of meeting Thom at the beach bar was one of the few things sucessfully scourged from his memory. Good thing, too, he'd caught him in a very bad state.
"Weird, huh?"
He was at a loss for what more to say. He blamed the age gap.

Miller shook his head, "Not as weird as being slapped by some red furred girl for pulling on her cheeks to see if it was real. That was weird."

"Ah, yeah." Sid chuckled. "When I first got here I thought I was having acid flashbacks. Seriously."

"I couldn't even begin to describe what I was thinking." He shook his head recalling Shenzi thinking it was all a wonderful joke while he was slowly trying not to loose his mind in confusion. He got up stretching off the sofa, "I think I'm gona head back to my room... duplex 77 if you ever want to find me."
With that he started to walk back to his 'home' once more satisfied that the people on the island wern't ALL that bad.

"Cool." Sid nodded, as if there was any hope of him remembering that. He could look it up on the list later.
"Oh, uh, I'm in 58 by the way," he said once Miller was moving away. He wasn't sure if he said it soon enough, or loud enough, for him to here, but it got it out there. He'd be more likely to remember, at least.
That done, Sid turned his attention back to the movie.
