Terraniaxe Left: A perfectionist, basically. Usually very quiet and keeps to himself or herself. This type of person goes by information and statistics rather than emotions. Most engineers and mathmeticians(sp?) are left-brained Right: Easy-going and relies mostly on emotions. Very verbal and usually considered outgoing. Most right-brains are artists of some type. Balanced: They can use both sides of the brain equally... What are ya'? I'm probably more left(tho im not perfectionist, im good at maths and stuff like that), though i tend to be artistic aswell(im a songwriter)

I am almost definitely left-brained. I'm very good (and love) with logic and mathematics. In fact, I plan to have a career in Computer Programming, which, if you don't know, involves a lot of math AND logic... and loads of patience, too sweatdrop
Something I've been finding lately, though, is that I seem to be becoming more right-brained than I used to be. I'm definitely more outgoing than I ever used to be and I can't hide my emotions so well anymore... they seem to be getting stronger at times.
So, something I just got to thinking, a person could probably TRAIN themselves to be in balance with their brain usage... That's an interesting thought!

I think of myself as definately left brained, but when I put myself to an art project, I can be very right brained. Hah. Unfortunately, I'm not so good in math anymore. It's gone downhill ever since I left elementary school, but when I finally understand what I'm doing in math, I work at it and don't give a second thought other than to the equation. chronohart So, something I just got to thinking, a person could probably TRAIN themselves to be in balance with their brain usage... That's an interesting thought! You can train your brain to do many things--all it takes it time and effort--so what you're saying is very possible.

I took one of those tests to see my brain balance. It said I was balanced. However, I consider myself to be left-brained. I keep to myself, am good at and absolutely love math and science, and when I do my physics work, I have to have perfectly straight lines (ruler), accurate angles (protractor), and perfect circles (compass).

I myself voted for my being a balanced brain. However, I find it a little odd that there are so many who seem to have that kind of dominant personality. Do any of you play an instrument? How good are you at sports? Are you an avid dreamer? How often do you sleep? How social are you? It takes more than a sporadic burst of certain types of behaviour. CONSIDER YOUR ANSWERS BEFORE POSTING IN THE POLL.

I'm a right-brained person.. But I try to solve everything in a logical, analytical way.. making me somewhat Left. I'm not sure if your 'side' on the brain can change or not.. but I think If it can.. I may have changed to a balanced.

I am perfectly easy going and a bit lazy until I actually get into something, then I am a gigantic perfectionist. I excell at mathematics and physics so much so that my teachers constantly tell me to go away, yet I love to draw in my free time. I would say that I've learned to use my left brain the most, yet I have a bit of ambi-ingenouity.
I remeber hearing in the past that the left side of the brain controls the right side the of the body and visa versa for the right side. If this fact is true, then it is also reflected in my hand coordination. I am predominately right handed, but I have no problem reaching out and doing something with my left hand which is almost jsut as dexterous. When I play the piano, this is completely reversed: I play the Revolutionary Etude with relative ease. Interesting, isn't it?

Er.. I'd have to say balanced. I'm very artistic (not in the pig-headed way, though) and I don't do anything unless I have proof. Perhaps more right?

I took a test and it said I'm left brained...whatever. I thought I would be fairly balanceds...I got pretty close too.

In 9th grade English I had (based on only 10 questions) 60% of right brain usage and 40% of left brain usage.
But then I took one recently that was way more detailed and in-depth that said I was pretty much balanced. 3nodding
