"Tai was raised by a two-legger. He doesnt know much about being a horse.. He sometimes believes himself to be as good as a two-legger, and I believe he forgets himself being a horse. But he is a wonderful stallion." She said fondly. For even though she hadnt seen him, she lveod him dearly and would most certainly be forever attached to the stallion. They were binded like a marriage, and that was all there was to it.

Strange, very strange. Guilian couldn't imagine thinking that he was anything but a horse; after all, he was such a truly magnificant stallion that it woul be silly to picture being anything but. Still, he's hadn't been raised by two-leggers, so..
"Well, in some ways it's truly remarkable thing for a stallion raised in such circumstances to manage as a stallion at all...so yes, he must be a marvelous fellow."

Esper stood, stretching out her legs, and fluffing her mane. She smiled, and her chocolate eyes were playful. She reared in the air, stomping the ground with her hooves. "Enough talk about mates and the like. How about you and I take in a nice run?"

...and once again, the conversation was taking a sharp turn. Well, perhaps a run would be a good change of pace; Guilian himself wasn't used to sitting still for so long, so he was more than willing to take a jaunt. "Sounds like a plan...how about we make it interesting and make it a race?" Grinning, he rose to his feet as well, stretching out his red body and tossing back his mane. This could be fun!

A race? Interesting. She hadnt raced in a long while. She offered him a smile, and she was happy. Surely he knew, though, that she would win. She was just teasing now, for she knew he was just as likely an opponent. "Arace you say? Why, I think that would be agreat idea! Might I inquire of the rules?"

Rules? Well.. Glancing around, Guilian's gaze landed on a lone tree standing by itself in the meadow. A very suitable goal, as he saw it. "First one to the tree wins, and no attacking your opponent. So no kicking, biting, or pulling hair. Sound fair?" It certainly sounded fair to him, at any rate!

She arched her eyebrow at him. No biting or kicking? Surely he thought more of her than that. She smiled at the comment. Stretching out her neck, and kicking our her front leg, she pawed at the earth. "Well, Mr. Guilian, I dare ask if you think of me as the kind of mare who would do such a thing to win." A smile playing on her lips.

"Well, it's better to be safe than sorry, Chica. Sure you look peaceful and mild when you're lying around, but for all I know you're a vicious fiend when it comes to competition." Chuckling, Guilian trotted around to Esper's other side, the two of them now equal distances from the target tree. "I don't want to take any unsightly injuries; surely you understand."
Giving her a wink, he pawed at the ground as well. She might be fast...but he knew he'd be winning. "You ready?"

She laughed. Her? A vicious competitor? Not likely. But still, she couldnt help but give him her happy eyes. She was beginning to see him as her real brother, and not just the friend she had recruited. "Oh, yes. Understandable. But yes, I am ready." She was ready to run, but he had to yell go.

"But of course, Chica; on your mark, get set...GO!"
And with that, they were off; Guilian glancing ovver at the laughing mare with a diabolical twinkle in his eyes. It had been a bit since he'd participated in a race...but that didn't mean he'd lost his winning strategy!

Esperanza lept into the air. She hadnt told him that she was voted the fastest in her herd. Sure, she had aged a bit, but she had aged gracefully, and she didnt plan on losing this race. She sped to where she was side by side with the red stallion, her blonde mane blowing behind her, and a gleam in her eyes that showed just how young at heart she really was.

Well, she certainly was fast; he could give her that much. As Esperanza caught up to him, Guilian turned his head to give her a wide grin. "Not bad, Chica....but not good enough, sadly." With that, he suddenly spread forth his wings, and before he'd flapped them more than three times he was lengths ahead of her. Yes, sometimes wings were handy!

She laughed as he flew, and threw up her mane to the wind. It reminded her of an eagle. She had raced eagles before, though she only managed to tie them most times. Shekicked up her feet and ran faster, pushing her body to the limit. She ran, until again, she caught up with him. She looked up, laughing as his shadow covered her, and she ran, with the red above her.

"Very impressive, Chica; I'll have to give you an "A" for effort...even if that effort ultimately lead to failure." Grinning, Guilian gave Esper a final wink, then kicked up his wing speed and was shortly leaning against the tree. "But you put up a good fight!"

She slowed, and gave him a mischevious look. Next time, she was going to give the rules, and the rules would read no flying. She smiled, and walked up to him. "I daresay I ran faster than you at any rate. You just happened to have wings." She winked.
