One cup of black tea with milk, and exactly one Lindt chocolate square every 3 pages, which is approximately 750-1000 words. 3nodding

Music, of course. Food wise, it would have to be tea and fruit. Junk food just makes me feel icky and then I don't want to write anymore. gonk
It also helps for me just to step away from the computer/notebook for a while and do something else like go for a walk or even cleaning. I do my best thinking while I'm active.
I also come up with a good chunk of my good ideas while I'm in the shower. I don't know why. I'm going to be taking so many showers in November, it's absurd. whee

Music, definitely. I'll put my iPod on random and let the song take me to the part of my story it fits, then I'll write that part and tie it into the story when it's supposed to fit in.
Foodwise, it could be anything.
And I agree with Ayita about coming up with ideas in the shower; I tend to have huge roleplays in my head while I'm in there and I come out and put them down on paper.

Coffee, music and chocolate.
I reward myself with my beloved chocolate chip cookies.
Oh and, more coffee.

Lots of glacier-cold water. And the good asprin pop when I get those buzzing/throbbing headaches. I also take to watching the Food Network over the weekend to make sure the match isn't wet.
A piece of bubble gum nearby is a good thing as well. I don't go snooping for things to eat nearly as much.

Chocolate always helps. Music, if I'm trying to get into a particular mood.
If all else fails and sit there and doodle for a while and I get struck with inspiration. One of my goals this year is to be able to wwiden my horizons, as far as drawing inspiration goes.

Hokay, here's Lupe's official Write Your a** Off Setup
- 1 can of Coca-Cola, espresso, energy drink, or... eh, anything with caffeine, really. But it MUST be in a can! - 1 bag of cheddar cheese Goldfish crackers - Pocky. To suck on. - MUSIC. Lots of it. - Something else I'm supposed to be doing (I always write more when I'm procrastinating) - And, most importantly, it must be very, very late at night, when my inner editor is finally asleep.
In retrospect, this could explain a LOT.

My NaNo fuel comes in an interesting way. I've found the easiest way to get inspired is to talk to inspired writers, or read 'how to' books on writing, becuase they make me think about how wonderful it is to be a writer, and how everyone envies us, rather than the horrible truth of how much a pain it is! biggrin

Lemonade is the bomb.
Usually if my lemonade is working I go and sit on my bathroom floor. . . redface . . .yeah. Well it's the quietest place in my house and the warmest(Don't ask why, I don't know). Plus it has a radio, because I will go into DTs without having some sort of music on all the time.
And snap peas.

I like hot mint tea.
And chocolate, when I'm not drinking the tea, although it does work well together.

Coffee! Mint coffee is my drug of choice right now, preferably peppermint coffee with mint mocha creamer. *dies of goodness*
Coffee, music and the Lifetime Movie Network because damnit there's nothing more inspiring than watching some "based on a true movie" story that you can suck ideas from. xd

And Paying in Naivety Coffee! Mint coffee is my drug of choice right now, preferably peppermint coffee with mint mocha creamer. *dies of goodness* Coffee, music and the Lifetime Movie Network because damnit there's nothing more inspiring than watching some "based on a true movie" story that you can suck ideas from. xd I just drank 2 cups of mint chocolate coffee! It was heaven. I usually prefer tea, but I only have decaf tea and I need to get some work done tonight! Right now my NaNo fuel is DayQuil. All the time. Even at night. I've had this flu I just can't shake since October 28th. It's evil and it's murdering my word count. I saw one other writer said that putting her hair up helps her write and I'm the same way! Until my hair is clipped up so very little touches my neck I just can't write! I'm strange like that. But apparently not so strange. Go figure! xd

I always wear my hair up, but I can't stand to do much of anything with it in my face. I really should just cut it all off.

Generally, I keep the following within reach while writing.
A drink, which could be any of the following: Cold, filtered water, either alone or accompanying some other drink listed. :3 Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, Sprite, Diet 7up, or Orange Crush. Tea: apple & cinnamon, Chinese green, cranberry, or sometimes any other herbal/fruity tea. Hot chocolate. NOT coffee, Earl Gray tea or Orange Pekoe tea. I hate them all. NOT alcohol. I hate that too. razz
A snack or meal, depending on time of day. I've broken the habit of eating constantly while writing, thankfully... rolleyes but I still like to keep a snack within reach in case I do get really hungry. These options tend to be my favourites: Apple, peach or orange. Chocolate bar. Chips, cheese sticks or popcorn. Plain white rice with nothing in or on it. Pasta with regular tomato sauce (nothing fancy). Leftovers. Mashed garlic-butter potatoes. A vegetarian or BLT sub from the Subway around the corner. (I'm not a vegetarian, obviously, but I like vegetable subs. :p) A scratch pad for notes that I don't have a place for in my document. (I'm weird that way. Some things have to be typed, some have to be written down first. razz )
My MP3 player. This is in case my music, if any (I sometimes prefer to write in silence), is disturbing my significant other, as my earbuds don't reach the output jack on my PC.
My cellphone. Just in case.
Body butter from The Body Shop, to help mosturize my hands. (I get a lot of dry skin this time of year.) I currently have a selection of strawberry or cocoa. Both are lovely and very recommended! They are so nice on my hands, and smell so goooood...
I think that's it... XD
