"That's good!" Tenmoki said with a large smile. Taking a seat on the ground, she pulled out a scroll and pen from her sleeves. Those sleeves seemed to hide unimaginable things in them. It was the Kusakage's own little trick. With pen scribbling furiously at the paper, the woman began writing. No one knew what she was writing down, but not all of her attention was into it. She did, however, have to keep those water clones in check.

Dammit. The clone had once again moved too quickly for her to get a good reading. She had almost gotten it...but then the clone was moving again. She sighed, frustrated as the clone moved towards her again. Another kick. This attack seemed to be coming for the knees again, but at the last minute, the kick soared towards her unprotected chin. Myobi let out a yelp. She had been about to leap to the side once more. But at this sudden change in attack, she quickly dropped to the ground, mid-leap. She intended to roll a few feet away to give herself some much needed breathing room. She tried hard to remain focused as she watched the clone's movements and intentions.

She successfully dodged once more. But the abrupt change in direction had caused her to lose her focus. She cursed silently and readied herself for the next attack. The clone now tried a spinning kick, aimed for her midsection. She, too, spun: she dodged left in an attempt to not only dodge but leave herself in a good position for the possibility of a counter attack.

She failed to avoid the kick and landed squarely on her butt. To top it off, she hadn't managed to correctly read the clone's movements. Myobi was getting a little tired. She had only succeeded in correctly judging the clone's attack twice. She steeled her mind and her body as the clone pressed in to attack. A punch, this time to the face. Myobi was really sensitive about her face. There was no way she was going to let this blow land. She let out a slight growl of irritation as she ducked and rolled once more. She concentrated really hard on reading the move and anticipating the trajectory.

[I am tired. My posts are getting shorter and shorter (no~!) and the dice hate me. crying I'm headed for bed. BTW: You realize that she doesn't have to be online for you to post? Just as long as her character is in the area, you're fine...]
Complete and utter failure. Her head snapped back, as Myobi took the blow on her cheek. She flew backwards, hitting the ground and rolling awkwardly. She got up with a groan. Mother was going to kill her for the stains...She shook her head and barely had time to react as the clone sent a viscious kick right for her head. Damn! This clone meant business! Myobi dove to the right, planning on tumbling to safety. At the same time, her sharp mind analyzed the clone intensely. Surely. Surely, this time she would succeed...

As the clone moved closer the secound stage of Drakyn's bloodline activated. He slowly slid one leg forward and bent the other, lowering his position. His right arm extended strait out in front of him, and hid left pulled all the way back by his side, eyes locked on the target. If this clone had his strenth, it would be no problem to dodge, but the counter attack would be the tricky part...
The clone attacked, a straight punch aimed for the head. Drakyn prepared himeself as the attack came.

As the clone fist came forward, the hand that was in front of him slid under it. It ran along the underside of the clone's arm until it reached the middle, right before the punch made contact. At that point, the hand push on the arm hard to the right, while his body rolled left, making the punch miss by only and inch, now leaving the target off balance and moving forward. Drakyn's left arm that had been by his side thrust forward and aimed straight for the clones middle, and made contact. After the leg in front of him kicked off the ground, causing him to jump back and increase the distance between them again. Drakyn regained his stance, reviling in not only in the success of the maneuver, but way it seemed to flow.

The clone attacked again, this time with a high kick. Drakyn kept the target in his eyes and tried to predict it's movements. With him in the same stance, the clone attacked.

As the clone kicked, Drakyn bent down and slid slightly forward, the kick passing overhead, while he was now right under the clone. Pushing his left arm up and standing at the same time, he used his palm to hit an uppercut blow on the clone. Again, immediately as the attack was made, Drakyn leaped back a short distance and resumed his stance.

The clone may have had the same strength as him, but it definitely still had the Kage's vigor. Once again, as if the last hit didn't effect it the clone came at him again at once with another kick, but it seemed to be a low one this time. Drakyn focused hard, trying to figure out the clones move in the short time given.

Drakyn had little time to react to the fast recovery. He only manged to brace for the impact before the clone's attack hit. It hit him squarely in the chest. If it weren't for the lowered strength of the clone, it probably would have hurt a lot more than that.

Drakyn took the hit and jumped back again and resumed the stance. Hopefully now he would be better of with a little extra time, even if it was just one second more than before. The clone rushed in again, aiming for an upward punch to the gut. He focused, determined not to let another slip up like the last one happen again.

As the punch came, Drakyn rolled to the right and curved his body so that the punch went past the front of his body as his right shoulder was toward the enemy. He's right arm had bent at the elbow to make a 90 degree angel, which as now right at the level of the clones face. His strength wasn't much, but added to the clones forward momentum, he brought his elbow in hard to the clone's face.
