The first one was good but in the second one you saw too much of him, I hate that in horror movies. I think the story was good, and the sequel storyline was decent, but the events of the second film weren't that good.
Thats happening too much now days. Main stream cinema is falling into s**t. There seems to be less and less original ideas.
After seeing the review quote: "Horror movies are back" on the Texas Chainsaw remake I just thought : Dear Barbera we're done for.
I think the same thing when I see posters for all these crappy horror movies coming out.
You know, every now and then, news is leaked that the critics' blurbs on a movie advertisement or DVD box (as well as some of the reviewers themselves) are made up just to make it seem like
someone out there liked the movie. I forgot what film it was, but newspaper ads included statements from some guy from
TIME magazine; not too long after the ad appeared in papers nationwide,
TIME was making press releases that there is no critic working for them with the name credited in the ad. and no critic working for them made such a statement. The movie was probably a bomb, but I find it amusing when distributors create their own positive publicity.
Speaking of the
Jeepers Creepers films, ads for the sequel (and probably even the DVD box) include some blurbs from Creature-Corner.com. Months before the movie was even released, it was revealed on horror news sites that someone from Creature-Corner.com was on the set with the cast and crew (supposedly to interview the cast and crew, as well as to send back news bulletins about the movie which would find their way across the Internet) for the entire shoot! When
Jeepers Creepers 2 finally came out, surprise, surprise, Creature-Corner.com posts a rave review on their website and the distributors are using it to market the film! I swear, someone must have been paid handsomely to kiss Victor Salva's fat a**. Either that, or the studio that released
Jeepers Creepers 2 owns Creature-Corner.com, and people are kissing the filmmaker's a** for no money at all. It's all a bullshit marketing ploy intended to rob you of your $10, (and I fell for it, even though I knew about Creature-Corner's involvement in the production
before I saw the movie).
