Tell ya something else, though...I went into 3812, where Ron Bruise lives, & in THERE I got good gold, like 6-8 gold per tree!

Wild updates in the info thread I posted a link to today!Vahrley • Strange connection between Durem Caves North and Barton Coast world map sections confirmed: Elven_God's suspicion that the intermittent crop circle on the Durem Caves North map area, and the intermittent blank map on the Barton Coast area are connected has been proven true. When the crop circle is visible, Barton Coast shows up as a blank square, and when the Barton Coast image is viewable, the crop circle is gone. Hey, I've got Whatsit, my Mule, hunting for Jack out on the World Map...& I just went to the Crater, & it's just after 4am there...& it's BROAD DAYLIGHT there! All the other sections are still pitch dark night! eek

How long is the general Gaia doing Halloween? I got collect candy from both the shops and towns today with Pax (my other self/mule). Weird!
Eirwyn, the Jack you "cash in" the shops candy to is moving around on the World Map. I found him in Aekea this afternoon.
Strangest thing ... I've had these paper hats cluttering my inventory for months now and I've attempted at times to sell to them with no luck. Now the silly things are hot items. Go figure... confused rofl
Here's something else too. Anyone notice that, although they don't show up on the big overview of the World Map, there are two new areas on the map? The Barton Trench is south of Barton West Field on the map. Barton South (which has the Towns icon in it but didn't work for me) is located south of Barton Town and east of Barton Trench.
OMG! Eirwyn, did you get abducted and alienated??? eek

The Halloween Event runs til I think 11pm on Friday night.

Jack is still out there, he's just a sneaky little guy. Eirwyn says she was finding him in the wee hours of this morning, as she struggled to finish getting the set of 8 bags before she had to quit playing.
Jack is much more impressive in Towns. He's HUGE! eek xd
She says what's REALLY hard is getting cows to tip or probe in the Event forum! They were really rare last night! Took her 'til about 5am to get the Alien Probe! burning_eyes

Finally found Jack near Aekea. Sneaky little devil. Haven't tried the drinks... grey is not a good color on me. blaugh
Still selling paper hats on marketplace. Halloween must bring out the buyers. Going to take advantage of this for as long as I can! biggrin

Well, I just finished the event. I now own all 8 Jack'd items for this year, along with the four special items you get for probing, zapping, and tipping. I never had any real trouble finding Jack. I would just jump from page to page on the world map until I ran into him. I don't like towns trick or treating... too much effort involved. ^^ And now I own 10 of each drink for future selling use that I'm planning on selling next Halloween. Supply and demand and all. biggrin

The towns have sunshine again! Looks like the Halloween craziness is winding down. The bouncing pumpkin pez dispensers are no longer in the towns. The houses still have the roof graffiti and Halloween "black slime" decorations on the walls. And the cows have been headed up and moved off the World Map.
Following Sepik's lead, I did buy some of the Red Bino and Zurg. Not so much for future investment (although that was smart, Sepik!), but for just in case ... wink
