The game could be something in the style of Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy.
Switching between the characters, staying low profile with Raito, finding clues/provoking Kira with L.

I think it would be a game where you would be Light trying to keep a loow profile or sumthing or just beig L trying to solve the kira case it wopuld be a stratagy game and it should be fun for those with brains

A Death Note game is being made for the Nintendo DS, entitled Death Note: Kira Game. It is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2007.[19] Not much is known about the gameplay at this time.
Several characters from Death Note appear in Jump Super Stars and Jump Ultimate Stars, a fighting game featuring a plethora of characters from Shonen Jump titles

Light, Ryuk, and L, to be precise. I haven't unlocked L as a summon yet, but as a help block, he's got a pretty cool power. Basically, he makes your screen zoom out so you can see everything that's going on. The power of observation, I guess.
Light, on the other hand, is kinda useless. As a summon, when you click on Light, he appears with his Death Note and Ryuk standing behind him, and it gives you the option of which opponent's name to write. Once you select, Light writes the name down for 5 seconds, during which he can be hit. If he finishes, though, his opponent doesn't die... His left and right arrows get swapped. And that's it. Kinda pathetic.
