Kasai stiffled a yawn. The battle earlier had taken a lot out of her. She reached in her kimono sleeve and pulled out a ducat and handed it to the bartender. He reached under the counter and gave her a couple bronze gill, which she stuck back into her sleeve.

"So then... What to do?"

"Not sure...By the way, do you have a dorm room? Im interested in visitng sometime..."
He smiled at her, closing his eyes.
He turned back towards the bar, slightly hiding his face for no apparent reason.

"Not yet... I was thinking of signing up for one in a couple of days... Haven't really needed one yet..." She smiled and giggled softly to herself, then looked out toward the dingy windows. It was getting dark outside, so the sun must have just set. Her eyes lit up.

"Lets go some where! I heard some one say something about a beach nearby."

"...Alright. Lets go."
He hopped out of his stool, then walked to the door, and held it open for Kasai.
"Ladies first."
He smiled at her softly, waiting for her to leave so he could follow.

Vice Captain

Yuki made his way into the bar, sitting down on a stool at the far end, furthest from the door. God, that had been... It was just another point as to why he shouldn't interact with mortals. He forgets his needs when he's around them, and he regrets it when he catches a whiff of them at an inopportune time.

The look on Koori's face had stung though.

...

He smacked his head down on the wooden bar in front of him, causing a loud bang to reverberate around the near empty room.

"Can I help you?"
The bartender asked, making his way over to Yuki. The vampire looked up, the bruise on his head already fading away rapidly.

"...well, I doubt you could cater to what my particular thirst requires." He replied shortly, "Unless you've got a random stash of human blood laying around." He put his head back down on the bar.

"Coming right up!"
The barman bustled off as Yuki blinked in shock. Really? Blood? At a bar? This was an odd area. Well, at least he could quench his thirst without having to think about it.

He could muse about other things in its place, however. About how his existence didn't offer much to anyone, including himself. He took lives to live himself. "Wanting to be normal...what a ruse." Yuki murmured to himself, staring at the dusty floor. He couldn't even get close to someone who seemed to enjoy being around him without having to fight the urge to rip out her jugular and suck at pouring blood. Why did he even bother going on?

The bartender handed him a pint glass full of the red liquid. Yuki snatched it and downed the whole glass in one shot. He hadn't realized how thirsty he had become, and asked for another. Luckily, it wasn't that good a batch of blood, otherwise he'd have become more ravenous. Not as ravenous as the night he had arrived, since he hadn't actually fed for several days at that point, but just enough to probably merit getting kicked out of the bar.

A thought hit him.

...the sun. It would be painful, but he could end it. As much as he liked being alive, there was no point if you had to be alone for eternity. Sure, he could go back to the coven in the East, or one of several ones that have popped up over the years, but...

Well, the idea of spending his time with those prissy vampires made him cringe. He wanted normal. And he obviously wasn't going to get it in this lifetime.

He checked the clock. It was just past midnight. He'd be back on the beach at sunrise. After all, if he had to go, he'd want to go somewhere reasonably lovely. The best sunrise, and his first and last since he changed, all those decades ago.

As he sucked on his second glass of blood, he wondered if anyone would actually care.

Her walk was sophisticated, one foot graciously in front of the other, her hips add a gentle sway. She wore a yellow spring dress that exaggerated her goddess-like curves. Her gorgeous locks of ebony brown hair lay in thick waves that cascade down her weary shoulders and luring chest. Her bangs were long and sideswept, nearly covering her left eye.

Although what really attracted the most attention were her two powerful feathered wings that lay folded upon her back, held in place by four thick black leather belts that clung about six inches apart from one another. These feather were unlike any other. They were a mixture of feather, fur, and scale. These scales lay sparse along the thick feathers, though grow heavy once brimming the hollow bone that framed them, the color ranging from a brilliant lavender to plum and marroon.

The woman eventually makes it toward the bar counter. She eyes the occupants that were inside with her sweetest of smiles, batting thick lashes and watching with a gentle jade glare. She reaches for a nearby barstool, placing it beneath her so she could sit

Austin had been sippping a coke in the darkest corner of the room, most of his body enveloped by the shadows. Only his piercing eyes glanced out from the darkness. They were watching Vixie..she hadnt changed a bit. After a moment, he silently pulled out a senbon, and tied what appeared to be a slightly frayed picture of the two of them, arm in arm. Expertly, he threw it out, landing the senbon-mounted picture directly in front of Vix.
"Look Familiar?"
His voice clearly resonated throguh the room to her ears.

Hearing the ridges of the picture cut through the air, quickly she held out her right hand with her fingers pairing in a certain position so she ripped the photo into her hands.

"Very familiar."

She couldn't help but pull her lush pink lips into a smile. She turned toward the area where the photo had been thrown, catching those eyes of his..

Austin stood up slowly, still hiding in the shadows a bit. His locked gaze remained on her face.
"I'd Hope so."
He slowly emerged from the shadows. He was wearing a loose black dress shirt, his long black overcoat, and his outlaw jeans. His Bass biker boots clacked slightly as he moved about a foot awat from his spot.
"It'd be hard to forgive you if you didnt remember me...Vix..."

"Forgive me?"

A quiet chuckle slips from her lips hence nothing came to mind.

"What sort of trouble have I gotten myself into this time, love?"

She turned in her barstool, facing him with one leg crossed over the other. Her elbow propped itself upon the countertop with the photo still dangling between two pressed fingers. Her wings shifted beneath her belts, causing the buckles to clank together ever-so-lightly.

"Oh, nothing big...You just never said bye last time. Its fine now though, but At least leave a note next time.."
He slowly approached vix, his boots making a constant click-clack as he neared her. He moved around vix slowly, moving to the opposite side now. he slipped beside her head, rubbing his cheek against her teasingly.
"I missed you..."
PostPosted: Fri Feb 16, 2007 5:09 pm

Slowly she shuts her eyes, warmth running through the very core of her body as she felt his cheek against her own. How she missed him so..

"Well I wont make that same mistake again."

She nuzzles him very gently with a smirk.

"How have you been, hm?"

"Ive been okay..But it hasnt been easy to keep going lately.."
One of his hands slowly slipped down to meet her free one. He slowly grased it, slipping his fingers between hers.
"Losing you took alot out of me...But now that you're back, everything should be better."
He looked her in the eye softly for a moment, a tiny bit of a blush tinting his cheeks.
"And how have you been?...."
