He laughed. He thought that that may be so for some, for he had made himself rather comfertable here quite fast. But then again, it fit his personality and the place comferted him. He took another drink and smiled. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Especially with how things have been going in New York lately. Hell, the place is hell." He smirked.

"I suppose so. I have not seen much of the city, so I cannot really say one way or the other." She glanced at him. "What are you drinking?"

He looked to her, swerving the bottle around in little circles in his hand. "I'm assuming it's alcohol. Unless the bartenders are cheating me now." He laughed and placed the bottle back on the counter and he folded his arms. "Did you want a drink?" He offered after a moment.
((I have to go for the moment, I'll be back shortly I hope.))

((I actually ave to leave now as well. Perhaps we can continue this later?))
"I do not drink alcohol as a general rule." She said curtly. "And I meant what kind of drink, not what it was. The smell of alcohol is rather distinct even in this place."

While the rain came down outside Leo came in and sit down at a table and mumbled to the waiter that he wanted a plate of Onion rings and a coca-cola... Waiting for he's order to get here he glances around to see there are only a few people in the bar...

It had been a while since she had stopped in to see about her fellow hunters. The new place looked great as far as she could tell. It was apparent that things were working out well for William. She smiled softly as she walked into the bar, brushing a lock of her hair, neatly curled, out of her face. She wore a black tanktop and a short pleated red skirt, as well as her black boots, as always.
As she made her way towards the bar, her green eyes glistened brightly, her boots making a soft thud with each contact the heel made with the floor. Regardless of if she knew them or not, she smiled with everyone as she walked until she slid into a wooden stool at the bar counter, swiveling around so that she was facing the rest of the room. She would order a drink later.
After her last escapade with Len in the park, she was still a little sore although she was alive. Mentally, she had been cursing ehrself since that day because she wasnt able to get her target. Since she took that part of her job, as if there was another part, seriously, almost to a fault, it ahd been eating away at her. Starting tomorrow, she would be doubling her training. It wasnt like she had anything else to do. Taking a deep breath as she pushed these thoughts from her mind, she stifled a yawn with the back of her hand, surveying the room with an expressionless glance.

Len nodded to Lyida's statement. "Ah, that's good. I mean, er, yeah..." He didn't know what to say there, but he realized the second question as she explained what it meant. "Oh! Right, it's a beer. I'm actually switching about their alchoholic beverages to...get a taste for them. SO far they havn't let me down as far as good drinks go." He grinned and turned as they went into another momentary silence. As he scanned the bar and dance floor he spotted a familier face. Well look who seems to be better. He thought watching as she took a seat not far from his own position.
He turned to see Lydia and would make sure that they would meet and be included in a friendly conversation. "Hold on a sec." He said to her, turning and scooting over a few seats, then stood up and walked, comming behind Kerrigan. He took a sudden seat beside her and laughed. "How you feelin'?" He recalled the incident at the park they had had, and him returning her to Haven. In fact that wasn't even two days ago.

She couldnt help but smile as he sat down beside her, leaning back on the counter, "Well, im alive. A little banged up, but nothing too severe. Sorry i left you hanging out there." She rubbed the back of her head slightly as she avoided his gaze. She would make sure that something like that wouldnt happen again.
Desperate to change the subject, she smiled, looking at him and motioning over to Lydia, "Hey, who's your friend? Someone i should know?" She chuckled slightly, leaning back on the counter some more, turning her gaze out into the people of the club.

He gave a hidden grin for a moment and then looked over at Lydia, then back to Kerrigan. "That's Lydia Aidly, a newer hunter. I met her a while ago when she was talking to William." He didn't mention anything of the vampire hunter, conciderig that he didn't want any...unnecissary oddity to crawl up on the conversation. He laughed, "I asked her if she wanted a drink and she doesn't drink alchohol which leaves me with a gap inside...as if I needed to spend that extra two bucks." He paused and gave a fake sigh. "Oh well, I guess life goes on..."

She couldnt help but laugh, "Well....big spender I see." She stuck her tongue out at him playfully as she turned so she was facing the bar now. Smiling at the bartender, as he came over to her, she thought for a moment, "I'll just have a bottle of Jack Daniels if you dont mind." Smiling softly as he went off to get the drink, she turned to him, "So....is this all thats been going on? You trying to pick up chicks and get drunk?" She gave him a little wink, nodding to the tender in thanks as he brought her the bottle.

He placed a total of two dollars and fifty cents on the counter for the bartender to take. He nodded taking it. Len then turned to Kerrigan. "Well, tonight anyway. Yesterday I felt like kicking some a** or getting mine kicked. But unfortunatly it was rather slow yesterday...at least on whatever section in the city I went to..." He paused.
"Although..." He took another drink of his beer. "...I heard some rather exciting happenings have been going on the last few nights." He drank again and shruged. "Who knows, maybe we'll be drunk enough to go check it out later." He grinned as he moved the bottle about in a circular motion in his hand like he commonly did.

She couldnt help but laugh as she looked over at him, "Well...that isnt any fun, now is it?" She laughed, taking a deep drink from the bottle. "You might be that drunk...i just plan on drinking this bottle and then probably going home to my apartment. I havent checked in for a while." She took another drink from the whiskey, taking a deep breath. Her shoulder throbbed painfully but she quickly masked it, smiling slightly.

That reminded Len of something. "Oh, I still have to sign up for a room in Haven. Thank God for that...my appartment is almost un-livable and I can barely pay rent." He sighed, "And as such I'm taking up William's suggestion and going to get myself one of the rooms down there. Heck, I've seen some and they're nice." He paused, "Besides, the company of everyone living around will be nice." He looked over to Kerrigan. "You should look into that to you know, after all, that's what Haven is here for eh?" He smiled and took another drink.

"Maybe ill think about it. I have put a lot of time and stuff into my apartment though. I mean, it is almost as safe as this place. But of course, im almost never there, so it doenst really matter." She shrugged slightly, taking another drink from the bottle. Chuckling, she stifled a yawn with the back of her hand.

"Heh, I see..." Len downed the rest of the botle and placed it on the counter. "Well, I hope you look into it." He smiled then turned to see Lydia again. He then turned back to Kerrigan. "Oh, perhaps you two should meet. Besides, she looks a little alone right now." He started to move out of his seat. He wasn't drunk yet, it actually took a lot for him to get drunk, but he felt it comming on a bit. He laughed at this and held out his hand towards Kerrigan. "Shall I escort you m'lady?" He said jokingly.
