He smiled at Wahabu and still walked beside the cub, he was so small yet so smart for his age. K'Anatak was glad he had found a friend in him, perhaps one day K'Anatak would see Wahabu have a family of his own, and be able to play with his children as he played with Wahabu today.

"I am more glad that you are my friend, you are in fact the first mortal friend I have yet to make Waabu, I'm glad it was you I met before any others..." as he kept up with Wahabu he looked ahead to see another figure. His mother perhaps? Seemed that way, she had the same pelt color as Wahabu, and there was something...grand about her.

A goddess perhaps?

Yes, that would make sense for why K'Anatak felt such a trusting manner with Wahabu.
"Hello miss," K'Anatak said with a bow once they got close enough, "Your son is quite the playful one. I hope I did not intrude too close however," he didn't want Whabu's mother mad, but he also didn't want his mother to push K'Anatak away from him...K'Anatak liked Wahabu quite much.

Wahabu walked along with his head high at the nice compliments the god offered him, but he was kept silent by the feather in his mouth. He would be pleased to find that it couldn't be frayed, when the time for that came. Everything his new friend said only made it more special to him.

He smiled as wide as the feather would allow when he spotted his mother, and picked up his pace, stopping just where they were close enough to talk to her. Leaning down, he let the feather drop to the ground and put a paw over it to assure it didn't fly away.

"Mama! Look who I met," Wahabu grinned and wriggled excitedly, watching his mother's reaction carefully.

Mtima'safi glanced towards her son, then to K'Anatak with a small smile. She would not let her reaction seem too strange, but had no intention of being disrespectful to another god. She was certainly caught on what to say, how to speak without seeming too knowledgable.

"Hello there," she greeted them, returning the bow to the god, "I hope he was not a bother. I am Mtima'safi, and you are not intruding at all. You are welcome here." The lioness offered the god a friendly smile, and winked down at her son- she could clearly see he was pleased to have a friend, especially one like this. If he was happy, she was happy.

The white god was so happy that Wahabu had such a connection with his mother, the name of Wahabu's mother sounded all too familiar, a story, it had to be from a story he had heard at one point in time. Wahabu seemed to happy to have met K'Anatak, which only made the large god melt inside with happiness; he was just as happy if not more happy then Wahabu to have such a friend.

"Your son a bother? I wouldn't be able to believe that, he's such a joy to be around, we had fun playing a game together, though he won," K'Anatak said smiling down at Wahabu. Though they bumped into eachother the first round, Whabu was able to find K'Anatak quite well.

"I am K'Anatak," he said strongly, but not too strong..wait, did he already say his name? Why was his memory so bad!? "Your son will grow up to be strong, I can see it in him already."

Wahabu didn't feel like much of a part of the conversation now, but he was part of the topic they discussed and he was proving that he'd made a friend. His attention turned to his feather, and he leaned down and picked it up again to show it off.

"Look wha' he gabe me, mama!" he mumbled through the feather, holding his head up so his mother could get a good look at what he was holding. He grinned and glanced over at K'Anatak happily, puffing his chest up at seeing that he would be strong.

This was definetely a good day for the little yellow cub.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, K'Anatak, you certainly are a sight to see," she replied brightly, taking a moment to admire the stark whiteness of his fur and the lovely feathers his many wings. Mtima's gaze return to his face and she smiled gratefully, "I certainly hope he does, he has a good soul."

It was an allusion to her domain, but also a fact that one would probably know if only from meeting the cub. She was sure it was not often a decret of the alignment of ones soul.

Her attention went to the feather her son was holding up and she grinned, "Well, aren't you lucky. And aren't you generous-" Mtima looked back at K'Anatak, "Such a lovely gift."

K'Anatak chuckled lightly at Wahabu's antics with the feather, such joy from a simple gift. He was glad he made Wahabu so happy, though unfortunately the time here he could spend with both Whaabu and Mtima was growing short, his pwoers were sending him a sense of who he was searching for, far from here as well.

He thought he was so close to finding him.

He was sure one day Wahabu would be great, his mother sensed teh greatness as well. His soul? Perhaps she was the goddess of souls, such a nice realm to be part of. Perhaps she could sense the soul of the one he was looking for...if only he knew what to tell her to search for. Ah well, he had to do this search on his own sadly enough.

"Generous perhaps, but its a gift to a friend," he smiled down at Wahabu, then raised his gaze to Mtima and smiled. "I wish I could stay longer, but I'm searching out someone...they have moved from this area, I must try to follow and find them..." he looked down at Wahabu and still smiled, "But I will come back to visit, I promise."

"So many are looking for someone they have lost track of," Mtima commented in as polite a tone as she could manage, for in her own experience it was quite true- it seemed that every third creature she ran into was looking for someone. "Good luck on your search, I daresay you have an advantage to your looking." She glanced at his wings with a small nod.

The feather was spit to the ground yet again when K'Anatak again mentioned that he had to leave, and promised that he would be back to visit. He smiled up at his friend and nodded, "Ok! Good luck finding whoever you're looking for." He was obviously mimicing his mother a bit in the polite well-wishes, but he meant it as well.

It was true, many would search out someone or something they perhaps would never find, but continued none the less. That was what K'Anatak was doing, trying to find what he never knew. To try and mend the past. Perhaps someday he would find the one he had lost so long ago.

"Thank you, it's much appreciated," he bowed to Mtima and Wahabu once again, but crouched down next to Wahabu and smiled, "I will keep my promise to you Wahabu, and if you ever need me, just call," he winked and the feather he had given Wahabu began to glow slightly with K'Anatak's aura, "I'll be sure to find you with that..."

He stood up again and ruffled his feathers, turned and began to pad off towards the direction he was heading in before he mad met and befriended Wahabu. He turned aorund to smile to both, mother and son, adn waved with his wing before taking to the sky.

Today had been one of the better days K'Anatak had known.

He had a friend, and his name was Wahabu.

"Ok! I'll be waiting for when you come back," Wahabu grinned for a moment before being distracted by the glow of the feather. After staring at it for several seconds, he smiled back up at K'Anatak, "Ok!"

Mtima watched them fondly, enjoying the good feelings that simply radiated from the two friends. It made her day to see her son with a friend, even if that friend was probably many, many ages older than him and would bring some questions she'd have to answer carefully. She offered the god a farewell nod, and watched him back away and then fly off.

Wahabu bounded a couple steps after K'Anatak, and waved as best he could manage with his two paws. Lucky for him, too, his mother had put a paw on the feather to make sure it didn't get away.

"Bye, K'Anatak!" he called after him, watching him fly off. Then he turned around and went back to his mother happily, almost purring. It had been a fantastic day.
