XDSure I'm totally ok with this paring. This means that instead of Aeris being a rude to Tifa she's showing love to Tifa and vice versa. That’s just the way I see it. Not to mention that it would be totally hilarious to see Cloud's face if Tifa and Aeris suddenly decided to cast him aside for each other. xd rofl I know sick sence of humer sweatdrop

I LOVE yuri!!! Mostly TifaxAeris! I think yuri is actually just as popular as yaoi if not more. The reason yuri isn't discussed like yaoi is though is because people who talk about yaoi talk about how "cute" it is. Yuri is liked for more perverted reasons... usually.

Even though I don't much care for Aeris, I think her and Tifa would just be, well, such a cute couple! xD I also like TifaXYuffie, and ElenaXScarlet (O_O Don't ask how I got that one.)

On the yuri/yaoi topic... Gotta say Yaoi is more popular. And, here is my statistics.
One, there are more women in the world than there are men, thusly, it would not be unreasonable to say there are more fangirls than there are fanboys.
Two, most women like yaoi along with yuri, but openly discuss yaoi and buy yaoi and make incest coupling yaoi (Don't believe me? Think Naruto and Inuyasha and come back to me...). Yuri, though has some fan girls, most of which are either lesbain, bi, or very open-minded, has a lot of fanboys, though most are not willing to admit it.
Three, have to go with you there. Yaoi is "cute" in many people's eyes, and who can blame them? It is! Yuri, however, is very downplayed. You like yuri, and you're automatically a pervert while if you like yaoi you're uber awesome. *sigh*
There is romance in Yuri, not just wild, I can't say butt sex... Um... Girl on girl action out there. There are romantic ones where they have to go through the realiztion they are lesbian and go with the one girl that they had their eyes on forever, like koyomi/tomo for people. Kudos to you if you get the example.
I like Tiffie, but I also like YuffiElena. They're both similar in their groups, both the troublemakers, youngest, naive, and have a tendancy to get on people's nerves, but always mean well. They MUST have seen each other when the Don kidnapped them both, so there was interaction. The two together would be one hellacious coupling
