Luna jumped alittle when she heard the random voice that pulled her from her thoughts, but realized it was Kamiss. With a joy of excitment she dropped her bag and threw her arms around Kamiss' neck hugging him. "Oh my gosh i've missed you old buddy old pal," she giggled like a school girl happy to see her best friend. "It's been a long time," she replied finally.

Kamiss smiled, but sadly. "Great to see you too." That was completely truthful. "How have you--" Kamiss stopped, stiffened. An intense look of dread filled his face. "Things haven't been great here." He continued. "How about you?"

"Kamiss what's wrong?" she asked noticing the dreadful look that stricken across his face. "I've been ok, but i'm worried now."

"I just... saw something I'll have to do." It went without saying he ahd a vision. "I was telling Chobah about my bloodline and ancestors." (If you wanna get up to speed, read the previous page.) "The town has been attacked at the forest borders, and I fear they are coming for the power in this Inn."

Luna was still a little confused on the whole situation. "Are you sure? The forest border walls looked liked it was rebuilt and holding up fine. Why fear for the power in this inn you have it locked away by spells or hidden away right?"

Kamiss nodded. "Both, yes. But Chobah was walking into our borders and came across corpses. I was just telling her how peaceful this city had been. Ten years..." Kamiss shook his head. "No war in 10 years. Can you understand why I'm upset it happened here--at the site of my power?" Kamiss sighed. "Besides, if what I think is true, it won't be the first time Trarr tries to weaken and kill me."

However, once he died, so did the darkness in his blood. His descendants were cleansed of it, and I am the first since then to possess shadows." Kamiss took a deep breath. "Trankin, the demon I fought those years ago during the war, was a reincarnation of Trarr."

Luna whistled softly. "Oh i understand the worriness. With you talking about that sent shivers down my spine. So what can we really do now?"

Kamiss sighed again. "Hope for the best: That nothing will happen. If it does, fight. And hope Trarr's weapon does not come into play. I have it downstairs-if any attack, we should be able to expel them. If Trarr's weapon is unleashed, it could be devastating-it was used to cut out eyes." Kamiss nodded. "Go on a patrol. I'll stay here. When you come back, I'll search. How's that?"

Luna stood up and stretched with a grin on her face. "Yes i have a reason to look for trouble." She winked mischeivously and picked her bag up. "SO i can stay longer than i got ot last time right?" She asked with a tease as she gave Kamiss an innocent look.

Kamiss nodded. "Of course." He grinned slyly at her. "Unless you get your toe out of line." Then he laughed. "Here." He went over to one of his barrels, and filled a glass with a strange brown brew. "It's an energizing drink I invented. It will increase some of your senses further. I call it coffee." He handed it to her.

She took the glass from him and looked at it curiously. "So it's your own unique brand of coffee." Luna looked up with her blue eyes twinkling a little as she waited for his answer and she then smirked. "I'm not going to die am i?" she asked teasingly trying not to giggle or anything when she asked.

Chobah awoke to grey morning light falling across her shoulders. She sat up, slowly acknowledging that she was laying on top of a bed, in a room she'd never seen before. Slowly, as if from deep under her mind, the memories came back. She was in the Inn, and she had been talking with Kamiss. He had said something...frightening...and she had trudged into this room, almost in a state of shock. but she was fine now.
She practically threw herself up off the bed, with a determined smile.
Start anew...
She took time to find her pack (by the bed) and to change into her only clean clothes, knowing she would have to make new ones soon. Then she ran downstairs to fgreet kmaiss and anyone else she might meet, in her attempt to lighten the gloom of the news she had brought to the Inn.
