Trea took his claw again, a feeling she was becomign far more used to and much less afraid of. With his help she slid off the horse, watching their surroundings for life. The windows were not easy to see into, not due to dirt but rather just height and general placement of them.
"Do you think the horse will be fine and stay around if we just leave him out here?"
She asked this question as she slowly began towards the large, vaulting double doors made of a heavy, thick wood. Bound and ornated by a golden colored metal, surely not gold though but more likely brass. Large handles of lions heads hung, two from each door, a thick braided rope hanging from a circle of metal held firmly in place by the lions jaws.

"I think so. He seems alright." And true to his nature, Appollo merely stood there as though knowing the two would return, and that this place was safe enough that he had no need to nervously fidget.
Carl left the horse behind and moved to Trea's side, marvelling at the entrance. Whoever had designed it knew what they were doing - if not more than that as his claws came forth to gently rake the rope. He twisted it once around his hands and gave it a swift tug, listeing as the creak of the hinges became audible and the hall was revealed to the Queen.

When the doors were opened, it was like everything was set into motion. Servants and other members of the court were busy movign about. Some cleaning, so carryign food, others with clothes, and some even giving directions. The inside of the castle had a large staircase leading up that split off to two sides to connect with the open hallway that lead around the the top of the castle. The interior was much more 'modern' than would be thought of for a medeval castle. The floor was as lovely stone and most of the items were wood with the same gold metal lining the banister of the stair case.
"Oh Carl! IT is wonderfull and so large! I wonder what sort of rooms this place has. I can not wait to check it out."

As a servant passed, Carl daintily liberated a small assortment of various fruit and cheeses that had been laced together with ribbon and trimming fit to grace royalty's table on such special occasion as their arrival. This he gently undid and plucked a grape from the group, gently holding it to her lips in offering of the fair morsel. "Would you care for a grape?"

She gently and almost timidly plucked the graped from his hand with her mouth, as he was already holding it near for her. She smiled while eating it and soon finished.
"I think that was some of the bestest food I have had in a while. Thank you my good man." She bowed just slightly with her upper half to him and gazed up at the tall ceiling, walking a bit more and looking around at everything.

So it had worked! Carl couldn't help but fluff a little bit when she took the grape, just as he'd seen the girls in manga do, but Trea was different than them - she was real, and here, and a Queen! He happily indulged himself upon a tidbit of the cheese he'd taken, but again started forth with her to explore this castle and the kingdom they'd found.
The staircase caught his attention only immedietly. "What do you think's up there?"

(( XD Oh god! Carl reading the manga's! Dear Donna, you crack me up.))
Trea giggled as he started after her. She shrugged and picked up the edges of her dress so she would not trip, nodding to the people who greeted her by bowing or nodding.
She started slowly up the stairs, they were high but there wasn't to many and they were not painfully steep. Just prefect for little velvet feet, or claws.
"I think there will be a room that leads to a balcony for when we have to address our subjects for important matters. There will be many well made rooms of different colors for us as well as any guests we may have. Another room perhaps filled with playthings for us, like paints for me and weight things for you like Donna has. What do you think?"

Carl nodded to the servants as he passed, seeming to have done this before - if only infront of his own mirror. " He followed Trea higher and higher up the staircase, listening to her musings whilst throwing in hiw own, occasional idea as to what await them.
"Perhaps an armory with weapons, and a room where maps of the world are made by explorers. They might have an indoor menagerie as well, with all sorts of small animals that would fit inside a castle."

((Haha no I didnt but i will now!))
"I like those ideas as well. I would love to be surrounded by animals whenever I pleased. I think an armory would be on the first floor though, as well as the animal room. I bet there is huge library higher up though!"
She stopped for a moment at the top of the stairs and looked where the next level of stairs went, one left and one right, both seemingly the same, and the balcony met at the top so they were kind of connected at some point.
"Left or right? I also can't wait to see if there is a garden outside the castle, but still surrounded by it.. you know what I mean?" She caught a glimpse of the way he acknowledged the servants and smiled proudly at him. He definatly had some mannerisms and confidence that she both admired and envied.

He did indeed know what she meant and kept an eye out for it. It was still a ways off, but once at the window, he paused and directed her attention outside and to the left of their branch. "The courtyard, my Lady, almost as beautiful as it's Queen."
And it was a beautiful courtyard. The garden was lush, the subtle hues of various greens gently winding their way betwixt all mannerisms of brightly adorned blooms that spoke of romanic evenings and forbidden encounters as dusk might fall upon the wonderfully dressed lady flowers that danced upon the gentle breeze of some nearby valley. At the corner, a marble stair led up and over towards their direction, perhaps comming from another balcony in the area that would lead them down amongst the fragrant blossoms.
Carl smiled and gestured towards the way. "Shall we?"

Trea smiled and almost gasped as she took in the wonderous sight outside. "The courtyard, of course."
She smiled at the compliment, knowing it was meant to be sweet but at her young age not fully understanding that it was something that could make some women blush. In time though, such wordings would make her heart soar. Of course there would be time for that, this wasn't a place Trea was giving up anytime soon. She hoped for many trips to their castle.
She nodded at him and curtsied a bit as he led them on. "We shall."

The bird was a bit more educated in the motions, but even with such talk and such mannerisms - a child he still was, and knew not of such emotion. He simply enjoyed making her smile, and knew the way to do such, so no time was wasted as he took her hand and led her on, searching through the chambers before the staicase was located.
There he stopped and grinned, not giving her a chance before he slipped behind and slid his claws beneath her knees and shoulders, lifting her clear of the floor before slowly carrying her down to the garden.

Trea giggled and covered her mouth with her hand while collecting as much of her dress as she could while he carried her down. She was again surprised that he could lift her with such ease, more so that he had not even so much as scratched her with his talon.
"Where would you like to go after this?' She mused as she watched their desent down the stairs into the wonderous, almost magical garden.

Carl continued down and set her down upon a stone bench, slipping in next to her and tilting his head to look up at the sky. A few motes of loose pollen and petals hovered above, butterflies and other insects occasionally crossing his line of site before he looked back towards earth and Trea. The question had sparked an idea.
"How about the forge?"

Trea was lost in thought as she watched the insects and petals. It was almost magical here. She hummed lightly and shook her head a bit. Her thoughts cleared her mind as she smiled and looked at Carl.
"What is a forge?"
