"A midnight sounds most delightful," said Kimi as she smiled and gave a little wink at Lucius. "There are wonderful apples not too far from here. But perhaps you can take me to some places you know of."
Kimi circled around Lucius playfully with a hint of seduction in the way she walked.

"I'd be honored to." Lucius dipped his head slightyly in kind of a mock bow. When he raised his head he had a smirk on his lips. "I'm really not in the mood for apples. There's a field of fresh oates and barley not too far from here." he slowly starting walking towards where the field was, turning his head to make sure Kimi was following.
((sorry for the late response. had real life drama that made me not in the mood to rp))

Kimi followed after Lucius, watching him as he walked.
"I can't wait to see this field," said Kimi with smile and a seductive tone to her voice. Kimi trotted a little fast to be at Lucius's side.

"While it is not as lovely as this waterfall it does have one advantage and that's food." he remarked as they made their way to the field. The air had been cool by the waterfall but as they walked away from it the air grew warmer. The dewy grass felt cold on his hoofs as he walked. Fireflys danced along the blades and rose into the sky. Some of them even settled on the two soquilis.

Kimi watched the fireflies dance around her and Lucius. They were so beautiful, it made the setting so much more romantic. Oh, if that were even possible. This night has been so perfectly romantic, could it even get any better? Not only is the setting romantic wherever they go, but Lucius, he's so romantic and sweet and handsome...he's just as perfect as everything else this night.
"Lucius, I...I love you," said Kimi, following a sudden instinct. In that very instant, Kimi had wondered if she had gone to fast. She stood still and stiff, staring at Lucius, awaiting his reaction.

Lucius stopped walking and turned to look at Kimi after she said those three little words. Did he hear her correctly? Was she just caught up in the night, the lights, or the something in the air? He hoped it wasn't so. If what she said was true it would make this night perfect.
He smiled slowly and gently at her. "I believe you are not alone in your feelings." he said to her. "I've enjoyed your company from the moment I met you. Your beauty and charm bewitched and enticed me. A minute in your company seems like enternity. I would be by your side as long as we both feel this way." As he said those words he dipped his head down to snag a flower. Lucius raised his head with the flower in his mouth. As he offered Kimi the delicate blossom he softly said, "I love you also."

"Lucius, I want to spend an enternity with you, and not just a minute in your company, but a full eternity. I want to spend to the rest of my life with you Lucius," said Kimi. Kimi accepted the flower from Lucius, smiling at him with eyes of hope and wonder. Without question, this night is perfect.

Lucius's ear twitched as he listened to Kimi's confession. His lips curved into a smile as Kimi accepted the flower. His heart felt like it would pound out of his body, it was beating so fast!
"An eternity it will be then." he told her. Lowering his head he gave her a gentle nuzzle.

Eternity. Those were Kimi's words, but hearing them from Lucius gave Kimi a reality check. She had only just met Lucius. Was she going too fast? Kimi's eyes widened in a sudden feeling of panic, but she tried to restrain herself from having a total panic attack in front of Lucius. She felt she did love him, but she also wasn't sure if she knew what love was.
"Lucius, you don't think that, well, I mean, we just met. You don't think we are going a little too fast do you?" asked Kimi nervously stuttering as she spoke. Oh, now what was she saying? She had just said she loved him and wanted to spend an eternity with him, but now she is saying that she may have made the wrong choice to tell him how she feels? Hundreds of thoughts buzzed around through Kimi's mind. Kimi looked at Lucius akwardly, wondering how he would react, before speaking some more.
"I do want to continue our relationship together, whatever relationship that may be, but I just, oh," said Kimi, beginning to stumble on her words once more. If only she could think of the right thing to say. "Perhaps we should just, slow it down? I know I'm the one who has been so, well, blunt and cutting to the chase but I worry that we need to take more time to get to know each other. What do you say?"

Lucius tilted his head as Kimi's eyes widened as the impact of his words hit her. "I'm very glad to see my words seemed to snap you out of your desire to rush head long into this." he told her. "I was hoping you would realize it on your own, because I fear you wouldn't have heard the words from me, if I would have tried to tell you." He gave her a saucy grin. "After all I've heard that slow and steady wins the race. "

Kimi giggled lightly, indeed, what Lucius had said was true. Kimi had been rushing into a relationship. Was she in love with Lucius or the idea of being in love with Lucius? Kimi smiled up at Lucius, still quite embarassed at her behavior.
"Perhaps we spend some more time to get to know eachother? Learn about who we are and the backgrounds that we come from," said Kimi. "See if we are right for each other afterall, find whether or not it is destiny for the two of us to meet. And who knows? Perhaps fate will keep us together after all."
Kimi looked away shyly.

"I think that's a fine idea." he told her. "How about we hurry to that field before some other soquili discovers it. I'll race you!" and with that he started off in a trot towards the field.

Kimi followed behind Lucius slowly, daydreaming, as he darted off into the fields. Kimi shook her head, snapped bck to the reality and chased after Lucius as fast as she could, catching up to him relatively quickly. She ran by his side, 'allowing' him to get ahead of her.

He laughed as she snapped out of her daydreaming and caught up to him. "You know it's not as fun when you don't give it your all." he told her with a smile. He started to slow down when he realized that they had already arrived at the field. The smell made his stomache grumble. It had been a very eventful evening and he was starving. But if there was one thing his mother did teach him it was manners. "Ladies first." he gestured to the wide open field that lay before them.

Kimi giggled at Lucius's polite manners. He was so sweet to her. Kimi looked around to find the food to eat. When she had found it, she began to nibble on it and smiled at the taste.
"These are very delicious," said Kimi. "What were you like when you were younger? What is your family like?"
Kimi tilted her head curiously at Lucius while she ate.
