That's not as bad as Idiot Commander. A few call me that. I'm the Color Guard Commander with a compitition soon. We are going to win, I sure of it. I like the new compitition uniforms we got. They have silver strips on the seams of the pants and on the sleeves of the service coat.

some people in rotc are very stuck up about there uniform this one girl told me the reason she was not in uniform is because her dad said she could not where it, i almost strangled her she pissed me off so bad

Ugh. I get that all of the time. x_o
There were several occassions where I was practicing in the back of the "JROTC room" (as some of us call it) with my trusty rifle, while in uniform might I add, where several people had the nerve to approach me and ask me if I was in JROTC.
I simply laughed and said to them in reply, "No, of course not. This is just my usual attire."

This was kinda funny, and I'm not sure if I already posted this. If so, forgive me for being redundant.
Once, we stopped at McDonlads for lunch. We came from a drill comp. A kid walks past us and says, "Mom, I think the Army is taking over this McDonalds."

I am in an NJROTC unit and I get called Baby Girl because in my first year I was the youngest NS1.
Once my brother, who is also in the unit, was bringing one of the rifles to the unit, it was in our Instructor's car, and he got the police called on him.

i only get weird looks from privates but i always get complements on how well i look in the unfirom our community supports our jrotc i even get compliments form drill sergeants from on post.

JROTC is a class at my school. You can take that or PE/Health.

it was weird cuz' i was walkin to a colorguard down the road and every one is lookin at me cuz im in class A uniform, and then kids salute to me, i thought it was kool.

A kid walks past us and says, "Mom, I think the Army is taking over this McDonalds." That's Hilarious. I'm in AFJROTC myself...errr was. I would have been a Lt. Col by now if I had cut my hair at the beginning of the year, but some personal things in life had kept me from getting that done, so I was passed over three times for an officer's position. Yet I was passed over again after my hair cut, and the job was given to some unqualified sophomore! So I got stuck as a C/Tech Sergeant. 3 years of faithfulness to my unit, and I get passed over by a C/Airman who has no motivation. He told me himself that the only reason he got his job was cause his GF, was a C/Major and referred him to our instructors.

But the kid was soooo cute.
Woot, I'm in an NJ unit. November 17, 2007, we went to a competition and won absolutely nothing. We're having Unarmed Drill Team problems that the chain of command is trying to work out.

I got called the funniest thing so far this year:
"Sergeant Major Colonel General Riceball."
The Riceball part came from Baa Baa Black Sheep. We were watching it in class to kill time, and Harachi came on. We were making fun of the way he talked, so eveyrone began to look at me. I was like, "What?" Then they started calling me Riceball because I was Asian...
There was this one kid (anonnymous) who flunked his C/TSgt test. For Sergeant Major ranks, he wrote "Major"; the rest, he wrote "Colonel," "Lieutenant Colonel," and "General." We laughed, so I was like, "Ah, cool, I'm a Sergeant Mahor Colonel General!"
