Erosia chuckled lowly to herself, watching Ori sink into sleep like a true boulder. "Silly head..." she muttered, nudging him softly as she layed her own head next to his, a smile splattered on her lips as she fluttered into dreamland as well.

In an early morning as the sun was just beginning to come up on the savannah Ori trotted through the tall grasses his gaze set upon a boulder not too far from him. He had gone out earlier to search for food and left Erosia to sleep. She had been seeming a bit different lately but Ori couldn't put his paw on what it was. In his search for food he had managed to catch a baby warthog out on it's own and ambush the little critter.
He now carried the baby warthog back to the boulder where he had left Erosia, the boulder having been their resting place for the night. Over the time he had been traveling with Erosia his infatuation of her had grown to pure outright love, not that he liked anyone to know it, and his way of showing it, without saying it, was to bring food to her and this morning he brought her breakfast.

Erosia rolled lazily on her back, her tail flickering up and down from time to time while she kept dozing off. What could she be dreaming of? Who knows? Whatever it was, a smile was drawn on her face as her crimson eyes slowly opened to the morning sun, rolling back to her tummy, with a little resistance. Over time, she had gotten slightly lazier, and felt heavier as well. Maybe it was because Ori, since he was clearly a better hunter than her, had been doing most of the hunting lately? Whatever it was, she'd need to get some exercise soon, noting her belly's growing roundness. Some lions are just plain blunt...
On the first days, Eros would find Ori's manners something between annoying and funny, at first not too keen on the idea of a permanent male lion companion. After all, they were supposed to be just flings, right? However, what was supposed to be temporary slowly became steady, and Erosia found herself completely enticed by his oddness, complementing hers so many times. And she had stopped minding it at all, cuddling with the rainbow lion when he had fallen into deep sleep, perhaps afraid of admitting her love towards him by words, just with longing glances.

Ori was growing increasingly quick on his feet as he was beginning to gain the muscle mass his father had been known for. Whether it be for him being the youngest of his siblings or just a late bloomer when he was still in the pride even his two sisters had more muscle mass than he did. Whatever reason he had gained it quickly after he had left the pride and now it was plain to see he was at his peek of maturity.
He rounded the edge of the boulder to see Erosia. By guessing he would say she was just awakening and that meant he'd made it back just in time. He trotted the distance between them and sat the baby wart hog down on the dirt before her. "Good morning!" He exclaimed with a bit of a smile.

"Morning..." Erosia mumbled, yawning again. "Oooh, breakfast in bed! Sir Ori, thy skills never cease to amaze me!" she said, giggling as she poked his side with her paw. "Which isn't a hard thing to do..." the cream lioness added in a mutter, sighing as she thought of her miserable hunting abbilities. Everything just seemed to go plain... wrong, you know? It was a wonder how she ended up catching something in the end... "Just in time, though, I'm just starving..."

Ori grinned and bowed his head to Erosia. "I do try Miss Erosia. I hope hog is to your taste this morning." He replied as he stepped away from the hog and layed down next to her making a sort of 'T' with their bodies. Ori looked over Erosia's body a look of concern on his face. She was really starting to get fat, he didn't want to say anything in case it was to make her mad but her size was really starting to worry him. He couldn't have been that great of a hunter.

Arcadia was wandering through the savannah searching left and right. While playing hide and go seek with her sisters she had managed to run off too far and get herself lost. "Daddy?" she called out softly. Soon she saw the unmistakable patterns of her mothers coat.. but she was with a rainbow colored male. Ignoring this fact for a second she ran full speed towards the pair. "MOMMA!" She called out excitedly."MO-OOF!" she tripped over her own feet and was sent tumbling towards the male. She landed against his side with her feet in the air and her fur all ruffled. "Hi momma!" she grinned.

She started happily sinking her teeth on the tender flesh when she noticed Ori's look. "Whufdmader?" Her words were muffled by the chunk of meat on her mouth, tilting her head to the side. There was no time to answer though, as a multicolored bundle of fur sprang out from nowhere, almost making Erosia choke while she tried to swallow the piece. "Arcadia?!??"

Arcadia shifted slightly, knowing she was probably in trouble."Yes Momma..." she was still upside down on Ori's side, but she was afraid to move. He look at her feet like a child who just did something wrong would. Oh how she hated the lecture that was most likely comig her way.

Ori had placed his paws on Erosia's side and made lay his head down as well when something hit him in the side. He quickly looked back to spot the oddly colored little cub. Her markings almost resembled a very wierd puzzle and her colors had a tint of Erosia's color to them and along with the word 'mother' in which the cub addressed Erosia surely gave it all away. Looking at the little cub reminded him of the days he spent with the princess Daveigh in her cub times and the memories brought a smile to his face. Turning his gaze to Erosia he smiled. "Got some cubs I need to know about?" He asked her and then looked to the cub. "What is a little cub like you doing out here all by yourself?"

Erosia shook her head, stretching to get a grip on her upside down daughter, nudging her so Arcadia'd fall down to her belly and catching her by the scruff. Letting the puzzle cub down in front of them, she sighed, taking a good look at her, seeing how she'd grown. "Too much hide and seek again?" It had been quite some time since she had last seen her girls, so the usual lecture was left hanging, even if there was still some mild shock to see Arcadia almost fall from the sky... Ori's question pulled Erosia from her little temporary bliss, drawing a rather embarassed smile on the lioness's face. "Oh... yeah... a past flirting. Three little girls, living with their father. Meet Arcadia, the rowdy one."

Arcadia shifted the dirt around with her paw. "Yes momma.." she said softly. Then she looked up at Ori with her head cocked to one side. "Hey mister? Did you know you look like a rainbow? Mister Rainbow!" she grinned happily, forgetting about how she had just appeared out of nowhere, and pounced on him happily singing 'Mister Rainbow' over and over.

Ori looked from Erosia to Arcadia and back and grinned at Erosia. "She's adorable." He said and looked back at Arcadia as she sang. It was too cute. Ori's thoughts were interupted though by the feeling of movement beneath his front paws. He looked down to his paws and slowly lifted them. There was nothing under them but Erosia's belly. Carefully he placed them down again and again something moved beneath his paws. After a moment of letting whatever was moving push up on the pads of his paws three or four times he looked over at Erosia. "Erosia, there's something moving in you. It's pushing on my paws." Ori looked back to his paws as again the pushing started and he could see his right paw raise up and then down and his left paw do the same.

Erosia sighed, shaking her head again. "Maybe too much... But that's my lil' Arcadia, I guess." she said, giggling at her daughter's antics. She suddenly felt something twitching on her insides though, something particularly rebellious. "What th-?" A brow raised as it moved again in the continuation of Ori's words. By now, a clueless lioness would have figured it out. But Erosia was... well... plain blunt. "I dunno... Must be my stomach playing tricks again. Or maybe you didn't kill your prey decently?" she joked, though she knew it was pretty lame. Whatever it was, she had no idea.

Arcadia stopped and tilted her head to the side and listened as the two adults talked. Softly she jumped off of Ori and nudged him out of the way with her nose. She rest one ear against her mother's belly while the other twitched as sounds drummed their way into her head. "Nuh uh!" she pickedher head up and shook it. "Those are my little sisters in there!" she grinned excitedly. "I can here 'em playin'!" She looked back and forth between Ori and Erosia happily.
