Unfortunately, that would be me.
For one, I'm pretty shy and always have been, and I'm not popular. I'm just not. A lot of the band is.
For another, when I joined the marching band, a freshman with the same name on the same instrument (flute) also joined. Now, this freshman is very pretty. She is very popular. Her older brother (in my grade) is widely considered one of the best-looking boys in our grade. Whenever anyone in the band hears our name, they think of her, not me, although I'm older than she is and a much better player. Barely anyone remembers that there's another girl of that name.
I've got a few good friends in band, but a lot of the people just don't bother including me. I'm not pretty enough, I don't say the right things, I'm slightly overweight, I'm just not 'in their group.'
'Course, I was a loner in general until this year. I'm not so much of one anymore outside the band. But in the band... I still feel kinda excluded.

I've always been pretty quiet and slow to be comfortable around other people. It took half a year for me to get used to my band because I always felt like I wasn't good enough to talk to anyone.
Towards the end of the year, I started opening up and people got to see the real crazy side of me. But I'm still naturally very quiet so I end up excluding myself from the group...
This year, we got a new girl. She's very annoying and thinks she's the greatest person in the world and no one could have it worse then her, she has to be the center of attention. No one likes her, but she's really good at grabbing away my friends for long, long periods of time and only releasing them from her annoying little grasp when she has to go to lunch.

I don't do the band dances.
But other than that, Im all over it.
We're doing Pink Floyd this year, and one of the peices is Money and we have a "rock out" section.
Jazz pumps = not cool.

A couple of the trumpets. One of whom the only reason is because he smells horrible. The other one is because he's an a*****e, doesn't care about band, and is cocky.
Then one trombone doesn't fit in in the band. He doesn't really fit in in general but oh well.

Our band is like a big family really. I know everyone and am friends with almost everyone, but we have our share of outcasts. *coughChuckcough*
He is really annoying and thinks he knows everything (in reality, this is quite the opposite. he just doesnt realize it). But the people who arent really liked by everyone else usually hang out and get along with each other.

My band is pretty much one big family heart But unfortually we have one loner that seems to be in her own little world all the time eek

The Loner would be me. Everyone in my life hates me and i dont fit in.
i couldnt fit in if i had a million dollars.
Plus i dont do dances in band, Middle school band is rough

Definitely. My band is full of cliques, the most prominent of which being the athletes...and as I am not an athlete, I don't get along with much of anybody. sweatdrop

That person would be me. Everyone else there is preppy and I'm the only emo there... so yea. I don't necessarily get along with anyone and I don't fit into a group in band... But, that's ok. I don't care, I don't mind, I don't want to even be in their prescence!
