As her face was turned, she couldn't see Rahu's emotions that swam openly within his eyes. She had thought he had left, but when he brushed aside her tears, she found herself fumbling for words. She then realized that his hoofbeats had gotten louder, just before he spoke. "Things have always been grief with us," she said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear, even as tears still flowed down her face. "I'm telling the truth. It was nice to see you again, Rahu," she blinked, trying to rid her face of tears, though somehow it made it worse at his next words. She held it in as best she could. "Truly? I think you're more than capable, but you're being held back by me," she whispered, feeling guilt-wracked. "I'm so sorry, Rahu. I never meant to be a burden like this. Never. But if it's me that's holding you back, please know that whatever your choice, I'm there to support you. I have my own life to worry about with Delano... and I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I hung out with you. Things are a little different these days." What could she say? She was filled with guilt, both for Delano and for Rahu. She was a horrid mare... she wondered if she would always wallow in her self-pity, this despair that was slowly consuming her.

Rahu shook his head. " you never held me back at all, that was my own fault as my own prode, and ego got in the way. there may have been alot of greif between us but sometimes there wasn't" he then laid down next to her. " you shouldn't support me as you should be supporting your mate Delano. im just a friend and nothing more dispite the history we have between us. but i have to say i always hated myself for what i did to you and always wondered if having letign you go like that was the right thing." giving a sigh he laided his head on the ground.

His body heat came off in waves as he laid next to her, and she finally turned her head to look at him as he spoke. "I can support the both of you," she spoke sincerely. "I've supported my brother, my father... many of my friends, but I support you and Lano the most. Even if it was your pride--your ego, whatever you call it--that held you back, I feel as if it's still me." She shook her head at his matter-of-fact voice. "We both had our ups and downs with each other, but that's life. Not even the humans can comprehend what we know." She laid her head across his shoulders in a horse-hug. "I've always wondered that if I hadn't met Delano would you have taken me? What if... what if this, what if that? The one question that was always a pain to ask, for it had no answer." She closed her eyes. "You're not just "a friend", Rahu. You're more than that, in all sense of that phrase. What if things hadn't gotten so complicated? Neither of us really knew what was going to happen, let alone this situation that we have."

" well i will stall argue that it wasn't you that held me back. but i cant agrue with you over what else you said. and there is no use trying to look back at the past asking what if." Rahu relaxed almost totaly as she had laided her head across his shoulders in basicly a hug fasion. " now that we talked all of that out, is there really anything else we could talk about?"

She smiled and opened her eyes to reveal the golden irises. "You're right, there's no use, but we all do it anyway. I wonder why," she said, though the question was more of a rhetorical question that really didn't need an answer. She could feel Rahu relaxing, and that made hre smile wider. How many times did the guy even get a chance to relax? Not many, that was for sure. "Feeling better? Anyway, I'm not sure if there's anything else we could talk about, but I'm glad we finally got rid of our lingering doubt and despair." She herself was feeling better now, not as depressed as before. "Hm... I know what we can talk about. "How about Shimshek and Entreri? Shimshek's smitten to the core with your friend." She snickered, thinking the idea all too hilarious. "I don't think she understands that she has no chance." Aruna and Shimshek were somewhat friends and yet somewhat enemies, so the two took any chances to make snide remarks at each other while at the same time making sure no one outside themselves did so. The exceptions were Artemis Entreri and Rahu, of course, but that was because the two stallions had had a part in their oh so dramatic lives.

Rahu nodded and almost laughed as she mentioned Entreri and Shimshel. " oh i can say that Entreri is hardly pleased with her at all right now and wont be very happy if he manages to see her again. and i think i'm better now as i think we both need this talk.." he wasn't really freinds really with Entreri but he was close enough to it with that one. a smirk came across hisface as he remeber Entreri had been quite pissed off a few nights ago when Rahu had met up with him.

She couldn't help but laugh along with Rahu. Shimshek and Artemis Entreri were both more amusing to talk about, especially as Shimshek was fool enough to fall for the alicorn. "Oh, do tell! Why was Entreri so mad a few nights ago, hm?" She thought she knew somewhat why he would be, but it was a vague answer, and she didn't know Entreri all the well--in fact, even Shimshek knew him a lot better than she did herself, but then again, she had no care for the stallion. He had a vibe that screamed "stay away" (well, Rahu had this vibe too, but it wasn't as overpowering as Entreri's was) and she did just that. If she was force to talk with him, she would do it, but she doubted she'd live. "I don't think I could stand Entreri if I ever spoke with him--I know that my tongue will be my undoing with that stallion, and I'd end up dead before I could blink."

" yeah its not wise to cross that one at all. and from my understanding Shimshek met his rival supposedly which set him off. lucky me stayed cleared as he was more than ready to hurt someone right then."Rahu shook his head with a small chuckle. " but don't worry if he ever tryed to mess with you in a anyway he would have me to deal with." he didn't care that Entreri was by fair better at fighting than he was, as he wont not let Entreri mess with Aruna or anyone close to him which Entreri wouldn't do anyways.

She rubbbed her nose against his neck in an affectionate nuzzle. "Thanks for that, Rahu. I can always count on you!" She knew she could, as well as count on her mate Delano. "Ah, so that's why he was angry? Shimshek better watch her hooves because next time the two meet I've a feeling Shimshek will probably want to distance herself from him." She grinned a wicked grin, however, as she imagined the meeting. "Hm. I wonder what would happen...?"

Rahu gave her a nuzzle back with a smirk. " ofcourse." he then gave a nod. " yeah she would be wise to watch herself now if Entreri now has his feather ruffled up and angry. it's hard to to say what entreri will do as he a sly one." musing over this, he truely wondered what would happen. " by the way to answer the question earlyer the mare who you seemed to have smelled on me is Zira."

Agreeing with Rahu, his next words caught her off guard. Blinking a bit to rid herself of the sudden shock of his honest answer, she looked at him with a tilted head. "Zira? What kind of mare is she? I swear, if she hurts you, there'll be more than Hell to pay." She spoke with a slight snarl, and automatically that brought to her confusing thoughts. Now, she had only scented this mare on Rahu, but somehow, Zira's scent had caused her to be a bit more malicious than usual... that was strange. Even the name gave her an uncomfortable feeling, but these emotions were the cause of her being jealous or anything--no, they were different. It was more like a feeling of dread, as if this mare was dangerous, sort of like Entreri.

Rahu nosed at her with a raised brow. " don't worry i dont think she will. and well i think i will lt you find out by meetign her if you ever do but if you wander into her terriory watch yourself. but i been around her area lately as you can tell so i should be around if you ever there." he didn't want her to worry about him or if Zira would harm him in anyway. and by her slight snarl, he did not know what to make of that.

"If I meet her, no good will come of it," she said with a snort, but she nosed him back for good measure. "Glad to hear it, but I promise that if anything happens, I'm there, Rahu." She eyed him, and then looked at his chest, where she could barely, faintly, see the scar that was marked by Delano's horn. Her own scar by this stallion's own hooves was now beginning to disappear under her new coat, but they both knew that those scars were there forever, even if they were covered up. She nipped him lightly, suddenly (and strangely) feeling playful. "I'll watch myself. I learned how to fight from you, after all."

" maybe, but maybe not, as we dont know that and i know you are." Rahu noticed she had looked at the old scar that was on his chest that was only faintly there now and ofcourse he would not forget it. he gave a smick at her and nipped right back. " oh really then i should have no worries then."

She smothered a laugh and agreed with him. "Well, I doubt I'll ever go near her territory, but if I do, it's because I'm forced to," she said, smirking and nipping right back at him. She flicked her tail, and then glanced up at the sky. "Maybe we should get going--I know you might want to get back to Zira, and me, well, I should get back to my home. Father's not going to be very happy with me, that's for sure... and I also have to make sure Shimshek hasn't corrupted him." She sighed and nuzzled Rahu as a last affectionate gesture. "I'll see you around." She stood, shaking herself.
