Spliced - Cronus
#009 -- Demetri Roland

Uncerted Demetri

Oh dear...perhaps young Demetri should watch his step around the other subjects. Some might find that new figure of his quite enticing... Also, he might want to get ahold of some more hair dye...if it will even take. Wait...wasn't he originally a blonde before the blue hair?

Subject #009 has exhibited the following physical changes thus far: slimming, more feminine figure; claw-like fingers/hands; green color seeping into his hair roots.
The subject has also shown evidence of plant-like growths near his feet. Further investigation proves that these flowing growths are in fact descending from his knees and completely surround each leg...almost like a second pair of pant leggings.

Behavioral changes will be observed and documented at a later time.

Demetri turned over in his bed, trying to get comfortable. But no matter what he did, the pain in his stomach and overall dizziness that he was feeling would not go away. Maybe he had a fever... That would explain why he was still here even after his injuries had healed, at least. He had to tell someone; if he could only get to the little talking box beside the door. Right, whatever doctor or person on the other end would know what was wrong. They could at least help him to get to sleep.

His hand shot up to his forehead to see if he really was hot. It wouldn't really do much, considering his hands were incredibly cold, so everything they touched felt like it was on fire. As he lifted his hand away, however, he felt it scratch against the surface of his forehead. He immediately moved it so that he could see just what had scratched him, only to find that it had indeed been his fingers. They were his fingers, he was sure... But they weren't, at the same time.

They were all weird. It looked like they were claws or something.

For a moment, he playfully pretended to be an Ursaring, and growled with them pointed outward, as if he truly meant to claw at someone. His growl ended up making him sound a little more like a Teddiursa, though.

Coming back to the situation at hand, he threw his legs over the bed in a futile attempt to get up. It didn't work out so well, as when he tried to stand, he merely fell back down onto the bed. "Well, that didn't work out so good." He tried again, and fell once more. The process continued for a good five minutes before he finally managed to stand up correctly. "HA! I win~" He said victoriously before beginning to trudge toward the door.

His head didn't seem to want to work right, and as he walked it took a toll on his footing. He was not only incredibly wobbly, but couldn't seem to walk in a straight line. Maybe it was because of his malfunctioning head that he was slightly skeptical of what he saw in the mirror. It was himself, sure.

But the first thing he saw... That wasn't a part of him. At least, it hadn't been when he checked. Maybe it was just the pants, or a play of the light, but his butt looked... Like a girl's. A well-endowed (was that the word? He forgot.) girl, no less. Thaaaaat was not normal. And his hair -it might have been just bad dye (yellow + blue= green), but his hair hadn't been that color when he'd sat down on the bed, he was positive. ...Right?

Still vexed by his odd predicament, Demetri continued walking toward the small button that Doctor Hakan had told him to use when he needed to talk to someone. But there was something that kept making contact with his pants. He bent over to roll up his pantleg (now well aware of how much extra weight his backside provided. How did girls do it?), but found that underneath it, there was some material that seemed to be attached directly to his leg. Sure, the leg was still underneath it, but what was all the green stuff?

This was officially the weirdest disease ever.

"I... Uh... Think we have a problem, kinda?" He finally got to the button and laughed awkwardly, still not completely sure what to make of the situation.
