About Dimmu Borgir becoming famous.... They have not evolved for the masses. When they opened for Cradle of Filth 10 years ago with Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, THAT is when they became famous. And from there, their popularity grew. It was not for they changed their style. It was simply for the fact that their music, has evolved.
I state and quote from Silenoz after the release of Stormblast:
"We wish to create a more powerful sound. One that would be faster, harder, and all around more loud. And, with our new works, we will be leaning on this more and more so into the future."
After the release of Stormblast, but before anyone knew who they were....

My favorite songs always seem to be the ones where the lyrics are written in Norweigan(spelling) ie Vredesbyrd, and the last one on the Enthrone Darkness Triumphant CD. I think the best three albums are Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia and Death Cult Armageddon.

How is Death Cult Armageddon even comparable to the catastrophic unity of Puritanical Misanthropia Euphoria?
Despite the wierdness of that question, it is not meant to sound harsh, but my knowledge in English fails here, and I cannot seem to make that any....nicer> sounding.
I apologise.

Meh, I'm still more in favour of the good old Raw Black Metal. I respect Dimmu, I like a few of their songs but they aren't one of my favorite bands. The term Symphonic Death does seem fitting, But they are still true to their roots of Black Metal.
I've been quite pissed off with this sudden interest in Emperor, I've noticed that more and more people have started listening to them...And it angers me. Alot of these people know NOTHING about Black Metal and Emperor happens to be my favorite band so naturally I'd be offended.
As long as no one starts popularizing bands like Ildjarn and Kvist I suppose it's not so bad...But it's best to keep Black Metal underground. Granted it should be allowed to evolve, Infact I support this but it's not made for Popular culture.

I apologise. wow, that`s actually the first time you wrote `of` xp It is a typo, apparently, for I did not do that on purpose. For my direct translation, that is the correct way to spell it as "O~V", but for whatever reason, it is spelled as "O~F" which makes no sense to me.....
But! Thanks for noticing.......?

Does Dimmu Borgir have another album coming sometime in the future? Or, I guess a better question would be if they have a release date for it?
